Primal Zodiac

Sorry,

I am not doing anymore “PRIMAL ZODIAC” compatibility interpretations. We do real astrology here; perhaps I should have never posted this page to begin with, but I thought it would be another interesting look into astrology. Unfortunately, too many people actually put more stock into this then they do real astrology. Maybe because this is easier???

This is where I started in 2010, only I wasn’t calling it “PRIMAL ZODIAC”. You can get started here as I did, but you NEED to look deeper. I will tell you a short cut I have discovered to rule out any questions or confusions using this “PRIMAL ZODIAC SIGNS BY COMBINATION”…

OK… Fire and Air are compatible right? Earth and Water are compatible too. Then, unless you we born in January… If you were born on an even year, like I was born 1974; you will want to look for someone also born on an even year unless they are born in January. Odd years stick together and even years stick together.

However; this is taking into account that you believe in Chinese astrology, where I don’t so much anymore. The Chinese Zodiac is basically the Jupiter rotation in “Real Astrology”. How to accurately translated the Chinese Zodiac into real astrology accurately and effectively. Go to: http://horizon.temp.domains/~datingbythesigns/?page_id=2600

If you have further questions about real astrology, you can find an astrologer at my other site; http://www.DatingByTheSigns.com and/or contact my mentor at http://www.StillwatersAstro.com – If your Sun sign and your Jupiter’s are compatible, then you have a better match then trying to use this “PRIMAL ZODIAC SIGNS BY COMBINATION” but you need to look at other planets like the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and etc like the Ascendants and more…

Hope this finds you well, CainO’ – July 2nd, 2015

June 20th, 2014 – This person took Astrology to a whole other level! Remember that if you were born around the first or last part of the year, your Chinese astrology may not be what you think it is; click here to be sure. Remember that there is more to astrology then just Sun signs and your Chinese sign…

Here are all of the sign combinations listed alphabetically (first by Western Zodiac Sign and then each by its Eastern Zodiac Sign counterpart. If you want to find Primal Zodiac signs by birth date, then you can click here to go to the Primal Zodiac Sign Calculation Chart.

July 2nd, 2015 – Does your Chinese Zodiac sign have an Eastern “Vedic” and/or Western Zodiac equivalent sign? Yes, it does. I have done my research and here is a list of Chinese Zodiac signs and their matching counterparts in the Eastern “Vedic” & Western Astrology.

The Rat Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Sagittarius.
The Ox Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Capricorn.
The Tiger Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Aquarius.
The Rabbit Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Pisces.
The Dragon Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Aries.
The Snake Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Taurus.
The Horse Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Gemini.
The Sheep Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Cancer.
The Monkey Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Leo.
The Rooster Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Virgo.
The Dog Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Libra.
The Pig Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Jupiter in Scorpio.

As you can see, this Primal Zodiac is incomplete; it is simply something to use for fun and not to be relied upon for true compatibility. All this is; is your Sun sign and your Jupiter, this would be something to look at for business compatibility before personal compatibility. Either way; you also need to look at your Ascendants, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and etc…

  1. Seems like there’s only one website with one blurb about this new concept of combining the Chinese year sign and the Zodiac sign. The “primal astrology” site. So are there any other sources? Are there any compatibility percentage charts like there are for simple signs, is there any other information, or just this one website, etc, ??? Or is this just someone’s opinion?

Please let me know any additional information you can. Thank you.

    • I am but still learning myself and it appears as though this is ones own conger, but a cool conger at that. I do not know what validity it has, only that the Chinese signs are comparable to the other forms of astrology. Dragon is equal to Aries, Tiger is equal to Aquarius and so forth. In this one can come up with a new form of astrology such as the primal zodiacs and know their compatible counterparts; but how valid they are and their interpretations, I do not know. I thought it was cool and so I posted it, otherwise I would have to do more further and extensive homework on the subject. Hope this helps, CainO’

    • From one of my Astrologers: Sun 10/12/2014 2:43 PM

You know that my astrology software has always done the synastry compatibility ratings after you have compared one chart to another to get the biwheel chart.

Version 8.3 added compatibility ratings based on the composite chart between the two people:

      Composite Compatibility Rankings
      ——————————–
After you have either created a Composite Chart or Quick Displayed a saved Composite Chart, from the bottom of the Display menu you can now select Composite Compatibility. This page ranks the compatibility of couples for FRIENDSHIP, BUSINESS, and MARRIAGE by comparing the aspects and house placements in the couple’s composite chart to extensive frequency tables for married, divorced, and famous couples.

The page also ranks the couple in different power areas, based on how close and how many are the contacts that each planet has in the composite chart, ranking their power in such areas as:
WILL, FEELINGS, INTELLIGENCE, HARMONY, ACTION, SPONTANEITY, DISCIPLINE, INDEPENDENCE, COMPASSION, and COERCION.

If the couple’s birth times are known, then the page will also rank how much the couple focuses on different life areas, such as:
WE, OURS, DAILY CONCERNS, INTIMACY, CREATIVE PROJECTS, SEARCH FOR MEANING, RELATING TO OTHERS, MUTUAL SHARING, EXPLORING THE WORLD, PUBLIC LIFE, GROUP ACTIVITIES, and SPIRITUAL ONENESS. The program looks at both the number of planets in each composite chart house and at the power of that house’s ruling planet. All rankings are in percentages compared to the range of observed values for a random population of composite charts.

In order to throw some light on what is behind the FRIENDSHIP, BUSINESS, and MARRIAGE rankings, the page ends with a display of the top aspects and planet placements that contributed the most to a high ranking and to a low ranking. If the composite chart had a planet house placement that contributed to a high BUSINESS ranking, then there will be a final line that mentions the strongest planet house placement that contributed to the BUSINESS ranking.

The captions for the Composite Compatibility page are all read from a file Keywords.txt, so as long as you respect the format and layout of this file, you can change the captions.

    • That is a GOOD Question! I will have find out 🙂

OK, Catfish is Aries and Sheep where Corgi is Virgo and Rooster; I know you knew this. Aries and Virgo are not so much of a match; in astrology, that is the 2nd worst position you could have. Sheep is equivalent to Cancer and Rooster is equivalent to Virgo, that is semi compatible. So based on these two signs I would say it would be a struggle. However; that is just your sun signs and your year of birth, it not all that makes you who you are. Year of birth is important, but not as much as the Sun. Sun is important; but not as much as your Ascendant, Mercury and Mars. Here are what one should be looking at in my opinion in this order; Sun, Ascendant, Mercury, Mars, Moon, North & South Nodes of the Moon, Eros, Venus, Psyche, Jupiter, Year, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune then Pluto.

Sun is Soul, Ascendant is how you appear, Mercury is how we think and communicate, Mars is our energy and sexual needs, Moon is our emotional and psychological needs, Eros is sexual love, Venus is our loves and values, Psyche is romantic love, Jupiter is how we work and do business, the Year is still unclear to me, Saturn is our lessons to be learned, Uranus is how other will manipulate us, Neptune and Pluto are the eras in which you were born much like the Year and I don’t touch on them much myself.

I would say by my opinion, knowledge and experience that your Primal Zodiac is not much to be relied upon for astrological compatibility; though one can use it to learn more about themselves and others. Just like sites that match people up using sun signs, and I found some that will match you up using up to three of your zodiac signs; you have to look much deeper then that.

    • Pisces + Dragon = Firefly
      Scorpio + Ox = Platypus
The Dragon Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Aries.
The Ox Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Capricorn.

Scorpio and Pisces is a good foundation where Dragon and Ox, maybe not. The Chinese Zodiac unfortunately is limited, just like only using Sun signs is limited; but it works. You have many more signs then just two and truly need to have a full chart done. That being said; Pisces and Scorpio is the right foundation and so you are on the right track.

    • Virgo + Dog = Salamander
Scorpio + Tiger = Honey Badger
The Dog Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Libra.
The Tiger Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Aquarius.

OK; even though I have little faith in the “Primal Zodiac” and think of it more as a “fun” thing and not something to take serious, this combination is a good one! Virgo and Scorpio are Sextile and the second best combination you can have. Dog/Libra and Tiger/Aquarius is Trine and the very best you can get. Now I discovered that the Chinese Zodiac runs fairly close to the same speed as the planet Jupiter, I recent learned that it is actually Jupiter in Retrograde. Basically a reverse or backwards Jupiter; meaning, I have no clue… it is something however that I am looking into. Though this is a good combination, you cannot go my you Chinese Zodiac and your Sun sign alone. You have many signs and aspects in your astrology and you must take a deeper look. Either way; just remember that life is a dance you learn as you go, try and enjoy the dance as much as possible while you can. CainO’

    • Penguin and a Pitbull? Ouch! lol

      Virgo + Monkey = Penguin
Cancer + Dog = Pit Bull
The Monkey Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Leo.
The Dog Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Libra.
      http://horizon.temp.domains/~datingbythesigns/?page_id=1888

Virgo and Cancer are compatible, This is a Sextile position and there for the 2nd best position you can get. The signs of the Monkey and the Dog in the Chinese horoscope are fairly compatible. It is useful to look at your Chinese zodiac sign to determine if you are compatible with your mate, and to see where your strengths and weaknesses in relationships lay. With this knowledge, you can see possible problems in your relationship and avoid them. However, there are more signs in your astrology and other aspects to be looking at besides just these two.

    • Taurus + Pig = Wombat
      Leo + Pig = Quetzal
The Pig Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Scorpio.

Well it is said that anyone can get along with a Pig, but I don’t know for sure. Being as you are both Pigs, this is good. Leo and Taurus may be a challenge; Leo and Taurus has amazing chemistry, but this position is can be a lot of work. You will have to look at the other signs in your astrology and the aspects in order to get a true understanding on your compatibility.

    • Scorpio + Pig = Squid
      Aquarius + Monkey = Dolphin
The Pig Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Scorpio.
The Monkey Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Leo.

Scorpio and Aquarius is Square, the worst position you can have; not compatible. Pig/Scorpio and Monkey/Leo is also Square, also not compatible. This combination is the worst combination you can have. However; using just these two signs is trivial. You need to have a full natal charts and composite compatibility done for the two of you.

I can help you at: http://horizon.temp.domains/~datingbythesigns/?page_id=1454

    • Libra + Rat = Vulture
Capricorn + Tiger = Komodo Dragon
The Rat Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Sagittarius.
The Tiger Chinese Zodiac sign is equivalent to Aquarius.

Libra and Capricorn are Square, the worst position you can have; not compatible. Rat/Sagittarius and Tiger/Aquarius are Sextile which is the second best position you can have. Your Chinese Zodiac is equivalent to Jupiter Retrograde and Jupiter is an outer planet. So just using the Sun Sign and Chinese Zodiac is not an accurate reading of you and your relationship compatibility. You need to have a full natal charts and composite compatibility done for the two of you.

  3. CainO I’m wondering about your style of finding compatibility matches what you do is figure out the western astrology to see if it matches and then when doing the eastern astrology you turn the signs into their comparable western astrology signs. Is this really the best way to do it? or would it actually be better to keep the eastern signs eastern signs and just figure out the compatibility using the eastern signs? From what I’ve seen rooster changes to Virgo in western astrology and were in western astrology Virgo and Virgo are compatible in eastern astrology rooster isn’t compatible with rooster. If you could please answer me that’d be nice.

    • I am not doing anymore “PRIMAL ZODIAC” compatibility interpretations.

• In a nut shell; Virgo / Rooster would only be compatible to each other if they put other planets besides Jupiter in each other 7th house of partnership and in each others 4th house of family, and if their other planets are astrologically compatible… This is why I do not rely souly on Sun signs and the “Chinese Zodiac”. Chinese astrology is not “Eastern” astrology necessarily, it is unique in itself from Vedic Astrology which I would consider “Real” “Eastern” Astrology. I have studied Vedic Astrology, Chinese Astrology and now Western Astrology. If one is relying on the simple style of single sign astrology, they are wasting their time; plane and simple. Astrology like us is complicated and cannot be summed up by using one or two signs… Unfortunately.

No offense to the creator of the “Primal Zodiac”, but truthfully it is a joke. It is just something to play with for fun, it is not to be relied upon. The Chinese Zodiac if used properly to it’s full extent would give you a similar result to Eastern “Vedic” and Western Astrology. http://horizon.temp.domains/~datingbythesigns/?page_id=2600 – But most people don’t and wont use Chinese Astrology like they should, just like they don’t use Eastern “Vedic” Astrology or Western Astrology properly. People only use the one signs in all three forms of astrology and that is not the right way.

Answering your question further; in Chinese Astrology, you are using the Planet Jupiter for your primary base in compatibility… In Eastern and Western Astrology, you use Sun signs as your primary base. I use Vedic and Western Astrology as my primary base, so I am helping people bridge the gap between Chinese Astrology and the other two to clarify any confusions if that makes since. I have analyzed this very thoroughly and will make changes as I gather more details, but I feel my findings are very accurate.

  4. Hi, I was wondering how do you think compatibility between a female salamander and male Tasmanian devil is, thanks. Before
Knowing anything about the eastern zodiac I thought that such attraction between virgo and libra
was a little strange, so maybe it’s the dog/tiger?

      • Note: Virgo & Libra are next to each other, we call this “Inconjunct”. This is compatible, but semi compatible. You want a Trine or Sextile if possible first, then Conjunct, Opposing or Inconjunct last. Anything else is bad.

  5. Yes, the Chinese and the Western zodiac signs can be associated with each other, but in my opinion this is how:

    1. Rat = Aries
    2. Ox = Taurus
    3. Tiger = Gemini
    4. Rabbit = Cancer
    5. Dragon = Leo
    6. Snake = Virgo
    7. Horse = Libra
    8. Goat = Scorpio
    9. Monkey = Sagittarius
    10. Rooster = Capricorn
    11. Dog = Aquarius
    12. Pig = Pisces

I know that a lot of people associate the Chinese and Western zodiac signs with each other like this: Rat = Sagittarius, Ox = Capricorn… Pig = Scorpio. But if you think about it, it makes more sense that Rat is Aries, not Sagittarius. According to the legend, the Rat arrived first, that is a very Aries-like trait. Dragon is very much like Leo, noble and generous. Monkey is just like Sagittarius, witty and free spirited. Leo certainly cannot be the equivalent of Monkey. Leo is a fixed fire sign, whereas Monkey is anything but stable and settled. Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign which is a perfect fit for Monkey. These were just examples.

The “primal zodiac sign” thing does not make sense to me. The Chinese and Western zodiac are two separate system, even if they are similar in many ways. I would not mix them together, but that is just my opinion.

    • Thank you, I agree with your closing statement. I understand that the main Chinese astrology characters are or had been transcribed from Jupiter which is why I fallow the other translation… only I have not done extended extensive research on this. I have Jupiter in Pisces and my Tiger translating into Aquarius is closer to my Jupiter then Gemini. The interpretation for Tiger matches Libra and Aquarius more then Gemini and the interpretation for Snake matches that of Taurus more the Virgo. But I have to do more homework on that. I will take into concentration your research as I continue mine. I am also looking into Eris, which is another outer planet that some people are using. Not that it has significance to compatibility since its orbit is 558 years, but it’s worth looking into 🙂 Thank you so much for your insight, CainO’

  6. Is virgo is good match to llibra? Lady is flamingo and man is ladybug. Tnx

  7. You actually make it appear so easy along with your presentation but I to find this topic to
be actually something which I think I might by no means understand.
It kind of feels too complex and very wide for me.
I’m looking forward on your next publish, I’ll attempt to get the grasp of it!

  8. You might not think Primal Zodia is ‘Astrology’, but the fact is the one little blurb I can find on it does a better job of describing me than any in depth reading I have ever paid for.
I have even had Numerology readings that were way off.
People have ‘gone deep into’ my ‘chart’ and spewed out rubbish. So if Primal Zodic isn’t a thing you are saying Astrology isn’t a thing.

    • Hello,
