Celebrating Romance

Let’s talk about love. Your relationships and marriage are an
important part of realizing the life plan for which you were born. When you form a partnership with someone, your relationship can simultaneously enhance three areas of your life: 1) if you stick with it, a healthy relationship enables both of you to confront and heal inner emotional wounds from the past; 2) you may contribute to each other realizing cherished career or material goals; and 3) you can be a support for other lives besides your own, both human and animal. You may have agreed to do these things before you were born. What you do with the partner that you were fated to be with is described by the composite of your birth charts. How the other side orchestrates our experiences with the aid of the planets is too much for the human mind to grasp, but as astrologers we can see events ticking off with clockwork precision, and the composite chart that you share with a partner is an important part of that.

The introduction to the Composite Couples report mentions the amazingly close linkages in the composite chart between Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Without their fated marriage, we would not have the young Prince George (birthtime: 4:24 PM) whose natal chart features a Grand Water Trine between Saturn, Neptune, and Black Moon Lilith exact to within 0d04m, as well as many other close linkages, all of which suggest that the universe has destined Prince George to play an important role.
Your constructive partnership now can be part of a plan that will be realized with your grandchildren.

My wife and I are coming up on an important anniversary of our first date, which was on St. Patricks Day in 1990. She is a Jupiter-ruled Sun in Sagittarius, trine my Moon in Aries, and she has definitely helped my cautious Saturn-ruled Sun in Capricorn to expand. The StarMatch synastry report describes how our charts impact each other on a daily basis, but the many private, constructive ways in which we complement and help each other to grow are described in our Composite Couples report.

P.S., If you accepted a Facebook friend request from me in the last week, it was from an imposter using my name and picture.
Hopefully you can tell the difference and can unfriend the new ‘me’, the one who has 68 friends versus 300 friends.

Still Waters Astro – March 2015 Post

March 5th: Full Moon in Virgo/Pisces at 10:05 am PST. The final Full Moon of winter in Virgo/Pisces coincides with completions for those with planets or chart angles in the mutable signs of Virgo/Pisces near 15 degrees.

March 12th: Mercury enters Pisces at 8:51 pm PDT. The collective communications of the global village turn toward the intuitive dimensions as Mercury reenters the mystical sign of Pisces where it joins Neptune, Chiron, and the Sun for some spiritual solace two days after transiting Mars in Aries triggered changes and eruptions between transiting Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn.

March 14th: Saturn turns retrograde in Sagittarius at 8:02 am PDT. Transiting Saturn pauses in the sign of Sagittarius at 4 deg 55 min and reverses direction after 7 months of forward motion. Saturn will retrace its steps from March 14th through August 1st 2015 when it will turn direct in Scorpio at 28 deg 16 min.

March 16th: Uranus in Aries & Pluto in Capricorn final exact square aspect.
The two Cardinal Titans Uranus and Pluto complete their 7th and final global
initiation agreement that began in June 2012 and completes this month.  Uranus will now take the lead ahead of Pluto going forward, although their respective retrograde cycles will reunite them in another square aspect within 2 degrees of each other from December 2015 through the winter season of 2016.

March 17th: Venus enters Taurus at 3:14 am PDT. Lady Venus returns to terra firma placing her feet back on Earth after distancing herself from a bittersweet Valentine’s fling with Mars in Aries. Just as a single spark can ignite a forest fire, so too can wings of wax tempt human folly when flying too close to the garish Sun.

March 20th:  New Moon/ Solar Eclipse in Pisces at 2:36 am PDT & Vernal Equinox at 3:45 pm PDT. Today’s Solar Eclipse in the final degree of Pisces takes center stage in the morning and then leaves the stage placing the afternoon spotlight on the Sun’s arrival in Aries ushering in the spring season.

March 30th: Mercury enters Aries at 6:43 pm PDT. Fleet-footed Mercury catches up with the spring team of the Sun, Mars & Uranus in the sign of Aries just in time for spring training.

March 31st: Mars enters Taurus at 9:26 am PDT. The warrior planet leaves Aries to pursue Lady Venus in Taurus only to find himself distracted by the allure of a more harmonious feminine aspect with today’s Moon in Virgo.Dates of events are based on Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Synastry Aspect Numerical Totals

OK, I am still learning. I started learning hard core in 2012, now I am also getting into Medical Astrology. What I am looking at right now is Synastry Aspect Numerical Totals and how does that compare to the way they do match making in India. Examples:

The reading I did yesterday for a couple that have been together since they were 13 and still have a healthy thriving relationship after 9 years. I don’t have their time and location of birth, this is just based on their birthdays.

Communication Index (Harmonious): +3022
Communication Index (Inharmonious): -1453
Compatibility Index (Har./Inhar.): 2.08
Total Communication Index: 4476

Here is my brother and his wife; their charts are a little off, but the Ascendants are good, Mercury is good. Sun, Mars and Moon are also good; the only thing off was Venus. They haven’t been together all that long, but they seem to be working.

Communication Index (Harmonious): +4784
Communication Index (Inharmonious): -570
Compatibility Index (Har./Inhar.): 8.4
Total Communication Index: 5353

My Ex2012 and I whom was one of my longest and maybe healthiest relationship ever… The only thing off in our charts was Mars. We had a great first 5 years, we almost lasted 7 years and the last year ended in disaster.

Communication Index (Harmonious): +1610
Communication Index (Inharmonious): -3109
Compatibility Index (Har./Inhar.): .52
Total Communication Index: 4719

Another Ex and I who also was astrologically compatible for the most part. Mars and Venus was off in our charts. Her and I are still friends, but not as close as we use to be. We lasted a long time, but not continuous; we dated off and on for almost a decade.

Communication Index (Harmonious): +3605
Communication Index (Inharmonious): -1908
Compatibility Index (Har./Inhar.): 1.89
Total Communication Index: 5513

My Ex2014 and I, we only lasted about a year. We wouldn’t have even lasted that long. We got together in July 2013, started having problems in Dec. 2013, broke up the first time in Jan. 2014; but got back together a week later and lasted another 9 months. We had our Mercury and Venus off. Mercury was the biggest issue I think.

Communication Index (Harmonious): +3695
Communication Index (Inharmonious): -1647
Compatibility Index (Har./Inhar.): 2.24
Total Communication Index: 5342

Here is my Jr. High School Sweetheart whom I just found on FaceBook, we lost touch 25 years ago, but it probably wouldn’t have worked out anyway. We have Mercury and our Moons off; don’t know what time she was born, so I don’t know her Ascendant or house placements. (This one isn’t accurate because I don’t know her time of birth).

Communication Index (Harmonious): +2601
Communication Index (Inharmonious): -860
Compatibility Index (Har./Inhar.): 3.03
Total Communication Index: 3461

Here is my brother and I, he was my arch nemesis thoughout our growing up. Though we get along better now that we don’t live together…

Communication Index (Harmonious): +4998
Communication Index (Inharmonious): -1016
Compatibility Index (Har./Inhar.): 4.92
Total Communication Index: 6013

What does it all mean??? I am still looking into it…

According to the astrologer that put my program together:

Some users have inquired regarding the normal range and significance of the different communication indexes. The range of the Harmonious Communication and Inharmonious Communication Indexes between two charts is from about 300 to 6000. This is for the default planet and aspect orb settings. Below 1500 is low; above 2500 is high. For compatibility, the Harmonious should be high and the Inharmonious low.
A Compatibility Index over 1.5 is high and over 2.5 is very high.

The positive or negative values that the planets and aspects are believed to have for personal relationships can be determined by examining the values that print out for each aspect when you choose Display Synastry during the Compare This Chart to Another menu selection on the Chart Information Screen. These numerical values have no absolute meaning; they are used to determine the sign and amount of an aspect’s contribution to the Harmonious and Inharmonious totals.
The Compatibility Index is the ratio of the Harmonious amount to the Inharmonious amount. The higher the Compatibility Index, the more the relationship is easy and free from friction.

You should look at the planetary aspects making up the indexes as you would not want, for example, discordant Saturn aspects that could warp or stunt growth (harmonious Saturn aspects promote stability and working out karmic problems).

A low Total Communication Index (less than 1800) gives so little communication that the two people are like ships passing in the night.
Regarding the total communication, we have become aware of the extent to which different people have different degrees of comfort with closeness or intimacy — this can affect the level of communication or closeness that they should have with their ideal partner. The speculation at this point is that an unaspected Moon or difficult aspects to the Moon or Venus could create a personality that finds emotional aspects from others to be unfamiliar and possibly uncomfortable.

Star Match Reading for 06-14-1992 & 10-17-1992

1992-06-14 1992-10-17

OK, here is a couple I just met. Well, I met one of them. He said they have been together since they were like 13yrs old. I didn’t get their birth times, so we don’t know their Ascendants or house placements. So lets look at the basics and see what they have that make them work.

Their Sun signs are compatible and most importantly their Mercury’s are compatible. His Moon is Sagittarius and hers is Cancer. His Venus is Gemini and hers is Scorpio. They both have glue, but she has more glue and both of them have glue in their Mercury. He said that they never fight and he cannot imagine anything better. They seem to be very happy together. Mars, his is Aries on a Taurus cusp and hers is Cancer. Energy wise, they are both pretty much on the same page. Sex wise as well; she needs it more then he does, but not by much. My theory is that it is best that the woman needs it just a bit more then the man, the man will almost always try and keep up.

Other then the Moon and Venus; they are very compatible and they both have glue, so they both believe in commitment above and beyond. There are many other aspects to consider, so lets look at their computer generated “StarMatch” reading:

Introduction

The StarMatch(tm) astrological compatibility report helps you compare two charts by 1) identifying each partner’s emotional needs by describing their Descendant (7th house cusp), Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars; and 2) examining the way their two charts interact. After describing what each partner needs in their love life, the report assesses their interaction by describing the significant aspects between their charts. These aspects identify areas of attraction, harmony, and conflict. The “Strength” noted for each aspect shows its degree of influence on the relationship. The Strength combines the aspect’s closeness of exactitude with its positive or negative value for compatibility purposes. The higher the Strength is, the more strongly the aspect is likely to be felt and acted out in the relationship.
Planets in Signs

Her Sun in Libra

What you need most from a relationship is perpetual growth and development. Your partner must be able to evolve with you as you grow in order that you don’t “outgrow” him or her. You need someone who knows how to keep the excitement alive in your relationship, or who is at least interested in learning how.

Libras love to fall in love, and many of your relationships may break up because of your need for constant change. Eventually you usually settle into a relationship that is stable yet ever-changing which allows you to undergo your own personal evolution.
His Sun in Gemini

Communication is very important in your relationships, and you can learn a great deal through your partners–that is, if you are willing to undergo a little self-examination. You don’t like others to probe your deeper secrets and feel embarrassed at displays of emotion (yours or others’).

It is important to you that your lover be your friend. Sex alone is not going to make you happy in a relationship, no matter how good it is. You have a light-hearted attitude toward sex and need a partner who shares your need for variety and stimulation. You have a knack for sexual experimentation and can become bored with a partner who is not of similar temperament.
Her Moon in Cancer

You are subject to wild mood swings, ranging from blissful excitement to deep depression, and have a tendency toward possessiveness regarding both material things and lovers. Women with this Moon placement make very nurturing mothers, while men are responsible providers for their children. Although you are quick to bestow favors on loved ones, you always expect something in return and feel dejected if you don’t receive it. Be careful not to use guilt to obtain your emotional goals.

You are good at planning for your retirement, and often once people with this placement pass forty years of age, they seem to become more youthful. It is important to you that you have the opportunity to be a grandparent. With business associates you are very shrewd and capable of making money quite easily, especially when it involves real estate and businesses located in the home.
His Moon in Sagittarius

You have a healthy sense of humor and, even in the worst circumstances, can find something bright in any situation. This can be a good attitude as long as you do not take things too lightly. There are times when a serious approach is more effective.

In love you are a warm and friendly companion, and your love relationships mature and grow deeper with time. You enjoy indulging in fantasies and acting them out. You also require a lover who shares your easygoing approach to life and love.
Her Mercury in Scorpio

You take sex very seriously and find it to be a very deep, intense experience. Since you have a special appreciation for having all of the physical pieces fit together in harmony, you tend to get the most you can out of sex. You are intensely passionate and have powerful sexual fantasies. It’s much healthier to find a willing lover to playfully act out these fantasies than to try and repress them, which would result in tremendous frustration.

Your thoughts are very deep, but you will share them only with your closest friends. You are secretive about your life, even when there is really nothing to hide. To others you appear very mysterious. You have a powerful, passionate sex drive and should resist any temptation to use your hypnotic powers on others as a means of control and manipulation.
His Mercury in Cancer

You value privacy and share your innermost feelings with very few people. Once you choose a lover, you are very devoted and loyal. You need little more in life than someone to love and a comfortable home. Indeed, you tend to be more of a “home body” than a socialite, and you need a partner who has similar preferences.

You want to share everything with your lover, and to you the perfect mate is one with whom you can blend souls completely, so that you become one person. While this sounds blissful and ideal, attempting to bond so tightly with some people will cause them to feel crowded and pull away. Whether you are a male or a female, this placement can be a sign of someone who is prone to “love too much.” You need a partner who will not take advantage of your complete devotion.
Her Venus in Scorpio

You are seeking transformation through your love life. A superficial romance does not stimulate you; you need intensity and passion. You are a loyal and committed lover, but you can be possessive and jealous of your lover, and it sometimes seems that intensity is more important to you than comfort in your relationships.

You are aware of everyone and everything around you, and you can often “pick up” your partner’s thoughts and feelings without the need for verbal communication. Passionate sexual expression is very important for you, and you can be persistent in stalking someone who attracts you. Your partner should be able to join you in fantasies and other bedroom games to further heighten the intensity of your sex life.
His Venus in Gemini

You are highly sensuous and enjoy the finer techniques of courting and lovemaking. Verbal affection and communication are important ingredients in any major relationship, and you don’t mind being “sweet-talked.” Sexually, your touch is soft and gentle, and your sexual curiosity is unlimited.

Your love nature constantly changes, and you are very unpredictable in this area. It is necessary that your partner interest and excite you, and it would be helpful if they have a healthy sense of humor. If you get bored with the affair, you may be tempted to move on to more stimulating options.
Her Mars in Cancer

You are a caring and protective lover and are very responsive to the emotional and physical needs of your partner. You are affectionate and sentimental, and feel most comfortable with your lover in familiar, safe surroundings. Although you only seek to nurture your lover, be careful that you do not come on as being overprotective or smothering.

The rhythm of your sexuality is somewhat unpredictable; your desire may build up for a long time before you act upon it, and then your intensity is surprising. Do your lover a favor and let them know when you are feeling amorous. Then you can both be prepared and relax into joyful, loving play.
His Mars in Aries

You have a direct approach to romance and lovemaking, and you need a partner who does not require a great deal of courting and who will not mind that you are most often the initiator in your relationship. You are eager to get to the physical part of lovemaking and should be careful not to leave your partner behind emotionally once you get involved. The lessons you need to learn are self-restraint and patience.

Be careful not to act rashly and impulsively in making commitments in love relationships. Also, be sure to get all sides of the story and think things over carefully before acting in anger. Otherwise, you may regret it when you calm down.
Planets in Aspect

Her Sun trine His Sun (Strength: +1440.0 )

Your temperaments adjust easily to each other, and your personalities naturally harmonize. There is much mutual sympathy and understanding, as well as support in achieving common ideals or goals. This is a positive aspect between any two charts, especially those of love and marriage partners. There is much compatibility and mutual respect.
Her Sun trine His Venus (Strength: +960.0 )

There is a magnetic attraction between you, as well as mutual affection and devotion. You share a strong friendship and are generous and understanding toward each other. There is much mutual respect, and you can encourage each other to be the best you can become. Between romantic partners this aspect indicates domestic harmony, loyalty and fidelity. You share many of the same interests and therefore enjoy a pleasant social life.
Her Mars opposite His Uranus (Strength: -378.0 )

This aspect indicates a conflict of wills between you and a difficulty in cooperating. 10.17.1992 resents the independence and impersonal side of 6.14.1992 and feels that 6.14.1992 is not always dependable. There is irritation between you, which can be upsetting to one or both partners. Romance between you could well end in separation unless you can develop mutual tolerance and patience. It may help if you undergo periodic separations.
Her Mars opposite His Neptune (Strength: -252.0 )

This aspect can be a source of emotional disruption between you. 10.17.1992 is abrupt and impatient; 6.14.1992 is elusive or deceptive in response to 10.17.1992’s pushiness. It is likely that there will be many misunderstandings and disagreements between you. If 6.14.1992 is very sensitive, 10.17.1992’s aggression could upset the health of 6.14.1992. This is not a favorable aspect between partners in a love relationship.
His Uranus conjunct Her Neptune (Strength: +252.0 )

Since both of these planets move rather slowly, this aspect is one which you will share with anyone of your respective ages. You share a mutual interest in occult, mystic or psychic matters. There is also a similarity in your social or political views. 6.14.1992 can inspire 10.17.1992 to express creativity in new and innovative ways, while 10.17.1992 can contribute vision and compassion to 6.14.1992’s outlook on life.
His Sun opposite Her North Node (Strength: -200.0 )

10.17.1992 acts as a restraining influence on 6.14.1992’s impulsiveness, which 6.14.1992 sees as criticism and interference. It may seem to 10.17.1992 that following 6.14.1992’s advice only takes 10.17.1992’s attention away from important goals and ambitions. However, if 10.17.1992 is able to help 6.14.1992 consider other perspectives and become more of a self-confident individual, then both partners can benefit from this aspect. Also, 6.14.1992 may help 10.17.1992 overcome insecurity and fear of social disapproval.
Her Mercury sextile His Uranus (Strength: +92.3 )

10.17.1992 finds 6.14.1992 to be highly stimulating intellectually and very imaginative. Indeed 10.17.1992 can learn a great deal from this relationship. 10.17.1992 could help give the many ideas of 6.14.1992 substance in the real world by giving them practical application. You have a great deal of intuitive communication between you, and this allows you to share each other’s ideas more freely. 6.14.1992 may stimulate 10.17.1992’s interest in occult or spiritual matters. This is a good combination in an astrologer-client relationship.
Her Mercury square His Saturn (Strength: -49.6 )

6.14.1992 can be critical and discouraging and may tend to harshly judge or discount the intellectual talents and attainments of 10.17.1992. 6.14.1992 can do damage to 10.17.1992’s self-confidence, causing resentment to grow between you. 10.17.1992, you must learn to protect your own spiritual health and well being. 10.17.1992 may feel that 6.14.1992 is limiting 10.17.1992’s growth, and that because of 6.14.1992 there are delays and restrictions placed on 10.17.1992’s progress. 10.17.1992 will seem careless and impulsive to 6.14.1992. It is difficult for you to cooperate with each other (unless the comparison contains several other positive aspects which offset this one). If there are many other mitigating aspects, much can be learned through constructively challenging each other in your individual (and collective) goals in life.
His Venus opposite Her North Node (Strength: -42.0 )

10.17.1992 can appear to be cold and insensitive toward 6.14.1992, which causes 6.14.1992 to consider 10.17.1992 to be withdrawn and antisocial. If the comparison is mostly a favorable one, 6.14.1992 will be able to draw out 10.17.1992 and help 10.17.1992 be more self-confident.
Her Sun opposite His Mars (Strength: -40.9 )

This is an aspect of potential conflict, unless there are many positive aspects balancing out its aggressive energies. There is much mutual stimulation, and there can be jealousy and rivalry. At the very least, you will be impatient with each other; at worst, you will be vindictive. In order to overcome this aspect, you must consciously develop mutual cooperation and patience.
Her Mars trine His Pluto (Strength: +34.3 )

This aspect indicates mutual interests and ambitions, especially if you are working together on a large-scale project. You would work well as partners in research, engineering, politics and civic affairs. This is a very good aspect between business partners, as you can assist each other in achieving individual goals. Between partners in a love relationship there is a strong physical attraction.
Her Mercury trine His Mercury (Strength: +30.0 )

This aspect indicates a great deal of intellectual harmony and agreement. There is much mutual understanding, and any disagreements are easily worked out. Conversations between you are very stimulating, and you have many things in common. You can learn a great deal from each other, as this aspect encourages mutual growth.

Her Uranus conjunct His Neptune (Strength: +28.2 )

Since both of these planets move rather slowly, this aspect is one which you will share with anyone of your respective ages. You share a mutual interest in occult, mystic or psychic matters. There is also a similarity in your social or political views. 10.17.1992 can inspire 6.14.1992 to express creativity in new and innovative ways, while 6.14.1992 can contribute vision and compassion to 10.17.1992’s outlook on life.

Her Sun trine His Saturn (Strength: +27.6 )

You have no trouble agreeing on how to handle your problems and meet your responsibilities. This aspect encourages confidence, enthusiasm, ambition, organization and persistence in you both. This is a very good combination between romantic or business partners and is an indicator of a long-term relationship. 6.14.1992 stabilizes 10.17.1992, who returns absolute loyalty and reassurance. 10.17.1992 encourages and stimulates 6.14.1992 to act on ideas. Any limitations or restraints that 6.14.1992 may place upon 10.17.1992 usually work out for the ultimate good of both. It also indicates a karmic tie between you.

Her Uranus conjunct His Uranus (Strength: +26.7 )

With Uranus in the same sign, you were either born within seven years of each other or about 80-90 years apart. You react in the same way to new inventions, changes in government, music, etc. You have the same definitions of “freedom” and “independence” and have the same understanding of your generation’s urge to achieve self-expression. You also have similar interests and beliefs regarding metaphysics or nontraditional philosophies.

Her Jupiter square His North Node (Strength: -26.3 )

You have very different opinions as to what constitutes proper social conduct, and each of you often feels that the other’s behavior is inappropriate. 10.17.1992 thinks 6.14.1992 is superficial for blindly following fads and trends. 6.14.1992 believes 10.17.1992 is too traditional and resistant to change.

Her Pluto conjunct His Pluto (Strength: +22.9 )

You are around the same age and have similar experiences of the world. Your ideas and viewpoints have been conditioned in similar directions. Since you share this aspect with everyone close to your age, it is not significant in analyzing compatibility.

Her Sun square His Neptune (Strength: -22.8 )

This can be a difficult aspect in a close relationship, as there is a natural power conflict. 6.14.1992 will seem elusive, evasive and even deceptive to 10.17.1992, and 10.17.1992 is baffled by 6.14.1992. There is a mutual lack of trust and frequent misunderstandings. 6.14.1992 can behave in a misleading manner, appearing to be submissive to 10.17.1992 but actually eluding the issue. The relationship may be marked by doubt, confusion, deception and infidelity.

His Saturn square Her Pluto (Strength: -22.3 )

10.17.1992, as the reformer and transformer, challenges 6.14.1992’s attitudes toward life’s responsibilities. If the comparison is mostly positive, this will represent only a mild test. If there are many negative aspects, this aspect can increase resentment and even lead to hatefulness, which is especially troublesome between parents and children. 10.17.1992 may be tempted to play on 6.14.1992’s fears. 6.14.1992 may try to restrict 10.17.1992’s freedom.

Her Moon sextile His Mars (Strength: +22.3 )

6.14.1992 stimulates the imagination, ideas and self-confidence of 10.17.1992. You can work well together in order to maintain a comfortable home environment and accomplish mutual career goals. As a team, you encourage each other to be the best you each can be. 10.17.1992 has a soothing effect on 6.14.1992, while 6.14.1992 can help 10.17.1992 gain the courage to fight life’s battles.

His Mercury opposite Her Uranus (Strength: -21.2 )

10.17.1992 is stimulating and intriguing to 6.14.1992, but also may at times be irritating and upsetting. 6.14.1992 may not wish to accept the ideas of 10.17.1992, who may seem unstable or erratic to 6.14.1992; at the same time 6.14.1992 seems elusive and superficial to 10.17.1992. This aspect can cause difficulty in relationships and requires considerable understanding and adjustment by both partners. To make things worse, they often share a mutual impatience with the other. Often circumstances bring about repeated separations or an off-and-on relationship. The truth is that you truly need time away from each other, even if you don’t know it.

Her Moon opposite His North Node (Strength: -19.6 )

You have very different opinions regarding social beliefs, popular fads and trends, and economic issues. 6.14.1992 considers 10.17.1992 to be superficial for blindly following the opinion of the crowd. 10.17.1992 sees 6.14.1992 as being negative and pessimistic.

Her Neptune conjunct His Neptune (Strength: +18.9 )

This aspect indicates that you share common ideals and many mutual interests, such as in music, drama, poetry, mysticism or psychic phenomena, religion and politics. It can also indicate a mutual tendency toward escapism, especially through drugs. You share this aspect with everyone in your immediate age group.

Her Moon conjunct His Mercury (Strength: +14.4 )

There is a mental affinity between you and an appreciation for each other’s ideas and views. Conversation is very exciting and stimulating and you can play the roles of both teacher and student with each other. You have many mutual interests, and your association encourages learning. Often there is telepathic thought projection between people with this combination. 6.14.1992 is able to understand 10.17.1992’s worst moods and to even see them as endearing. 10.17.1992 may be fascinated by 6.14.1992’s intellectual qualities and will be a captive audience.

Her Mercury sextile His Neptune (Strength: +13.8 )

6.14.1992 inspires, elevates and encourages 10.17.1992’s ideas. There are many mutual interests with this combination, and you have each other’s better interests at heart. You have well-developed mutual understanding and perhaps even share telepathic communication. In most cases this aspect indicates a psychic tie. 6.14.1992 especially can intuitively sense what 10.17.1992 is thinking. 10.17.1992 can often make practical suggestions to apply 6.14.1992’s intuition and imagination.

His Moon sextile Her Saturn (Strength: +10.0 )

This aspect indicates a favorable give-and-take arrangement whereby 10.17.1992 provides stability and 6.14.1992 in turn enlarges the ideas of 10.17.1992. 10.17.1992 will be dependable and trustworthy and can counsel 6.14.1992. There is mutual trust and respect here. 10.17.1992 brings out the more conservative qualities in 6.14.1992. You have little difficulty managing money together and, if you have children, you will most likely agree on how to raise them.

Her Moon sextile His Jupiter (Strength: +9.5 )

This is a very positive aspect in any relationship, as it encourages mutual confidence and respect. 6.14.1992 stimulates 10.17.1992’s imagination and self-confidence and will also be patient, tolerant, generous and protective. Even if the relationship should end, 6.14.1992 would never hold any ill feelings toward 10.17.1992. If 6.14.1992 is spiritually inclined, 6.14.1992 will have an inspiring effect on 10.17.1992, bringing out 10.17.1992’s best qualities. This aspect also promotes cooperation in raising children. You would also enjoy traveling together to foreign lands.

His Neptune sextile Her Pluto (Strength: +6.2 )

You encourage each other to remain versatile in life and to garner the greatest spiritual meaning out of life’s everyday activities that you can. You share this aspect with all people in your immediate age group.

Her Sun square His Uranus (Strength: -5.8 )

Freedom is a problem area in your relationship. 10.17.1992 finds 6.14.1992 to be annoyingly unpredictable, and 6.14.1992 resents 10.17.1992’s attempts at control and will rebel against any display of power or authority by 10.17.1992. In extreme cases your conflicts may even become violent. It is difficult to achieve cooperation with this combination, and it often causes conflict and separations. Both of you are impatient with the other and find it difficult to see things from their perspective.

Her Mercury conjunct His Pluto (Strength: +4.8 )

Your experiences together will transform both your lives and will especially stimulate 10.17.1992’s mind. You each have a profound transformative effect upon the other’s basic beliefs and level of awareness. You also share a mutual interest in the occult or psychic matters. 6.14.1992’s influence on 10.17.1992 is stronger than 10.17.1992’s on 6.14.1992. Through conversation 10.17.1992’s ideas may be transformed by 6.14.1992, and 10.17.1992 may resent being “brainwashed.” But actually 6.14.1992 is trying to force 10.17.1992 to explore new dimensions of thinking so that 6.14.1992 can examine the ideas in greater depth. You can teach each other a great deal and will broaden each other’s view of the world.

Her Venus conjunct His Pluto (Strength: +2.4 )

This aspect can indicate mutual social or economic benefit to each partner. You share a deep emotional tie, and between partners in a romantic relationship there is usually a strong sexual connection. 6.14.1992 may tend to be demanding, jealous or possessive toward 10.17.1992. You have most likely shared many incarnations together and bring a karmic tie into your relationship in this lifetime.

Her Neptune sextile His Pluto (Strength: +2.0 )

You encourage each other to remain versatile in life and to garner the greatest spiritual meaning out of life’s everyday activities that you can. You share this aspect with all people in your immediate age group.

His Jupiter trine Her Uranus (Strength: +1.1 )

You respect each other’s need for freedom and individuality of expression. 6.14.1992 will encourage 10.17.1992’s originality and inventiveness and can tolerate 10.17.1992’s displays of Uranian independence. This is a good contact between the charts of business partners, in which case 10.17.1992 would supply the creative originality and 6.14.1992 the capital to finance development of the ideas. There is much mutual inspiration and often a shared interest in metaphysics or occult matters.

His Mars trine Her North Node (Strength: +0.8 )

Cooperation comes easy for you, whether it’s in business or domestic affairs. 6.14.1992 has a great deal of energy and motivation to initiate projects. 10.17.1992 has a finger on the pulse of society’s fads and trends and can help 6.14.1992’s projects gain wider public acceptance.

His Uranus sextile Her Pluto (Strength: +0.8 )

Since both of these planets move rather slowly, this aspect is one which you will share with anyone of your respective ages. It indicates mutual encouragement and cooperation, especially in projects requiring versatility and innovative thinking. 10.17.1992 can help 6.14.1992 to assert 6.14.1992’s individuality more effectively, while 6.14.1992 can show 10.17.1992 new ways of reaching goals in life. This is also an excellent aspect for spiritual development in either or both of you.
Her Saturn conjunct His Saturn (Strength: +0.7 )

You have similar needs for security in life, and you both are ambitious about achieving your goals. Therefore, you understand what makes each other tick emotionally. If the comparison is a positive one overall, this aspect will encourage effective and satisfying teamwork. If there are many negative aspects, this one will lead to feelings of restriction, worry and lack of self-confidence. As with other Saturn contacts, this one indicates longevity of the relationship (provided that the parties can make it through the required adjustment period.)

His Moon conjunct Her North Node (Strength: +0.6 )

Your beliefs about popular trends and social attitudes are compatible, and you are likely to have similar family backgrounds and social status. Therefore, your cultural and moral values are usually in agreement and you have many mutual interests.

His Sun square Her Jupiter (Strength: -0.5 )

6.14.1992 tends to shift responsibility to 10.17.1992, and at times it appears that 6.14.1992 expects 10.17.1992 to be willing to do all the giving. In an effort to please, 10.17.1992 may make promises which cannot be fulfilled and therefore disappoint 6.14.1992. There may be major differences between your ideals, ambitions and ethics. 6.14.1992 may expect too much of 10.17.1992 and must develop a sense of compromise. This is not a seriously adverse aspect if most of the comparison is harmonious.

His Saturn sextile Her North Node (Strength: +0.2 )

You share similar concerns regarding the current state of society, the economy and politics. In business you would be able to combine 6.14.1992’s planning abilities and 10.17.1992’s insight into current trends to achieve success for you both.

His Mercury opposite Her Neptune (Strength: -0.1 )

This aspect indicates frequent misunderstandings and even possibly deception, especially by 10.17.1992. At the very least, there will be many secrets that 10.17.1992 will not share with 6.14.1992. It’s possible you may out and out lie to each other, or that more subtle forms of deception will be practiced. 6.14.1992 is often at a loss to understand 10.17.1992, and 10.17.1992 may seem distant or detached to 6.14.1992. This combination is more difficult on 6.14.1992 than 10.17.1992. In a business relationship there is a danger of fraud.

Introduction

This Spirit Success Report from Halloran Software’s AstrolDeluxe ReportWriter program draws upon 576 paragraphs which interpret the places of the planets at the time of your birth, describing your personal houses, sign placements, and planetary aspects.

These astrological delineations depict your potential and how to make the most of it, or the challenges you will continue to face and how to confront and benefit from them.  Though you may change through experience, your inherent characteristics will still motivate how you act and react to circumstances.  How you handle yourself is really a clue to your success, and it is up to you to make the “right” choices.

Here are the parts which make up your chart:

HOUSES:  Govern sections of your life, e.g., your money, your health, your partners, etc.  They are also meaningful as to where your early interests lie and if they are worth pursuing.

SIGNS:  Contribute feelings or vibrations to “color” planets, e.g., MERCURY rules GEMINI and VIRGO and emphasizes their qualities of thought, travel, health, and work.  JUPITER rules SAGITTARIUS and higher education, spiritual growth, and law.

ASPECTS:  Are angles combining the planets in the SIGNS/HOUSES that trigger the manner in which you will be influenced or can handle your qualities to advantage, e.g., MERCURY (thought) TRINE (in good aspect to) JUPITER (education and law) may indicate that you can succeed as a counselor in legal matters.

A “Strength” number precedes each ASPECT interpretation towards the end of the reading.  This number synthesizes how exact is the aspect, whether the aspect is major or minor, and whether an aspecting planet is close to one of the four chart angles.  The higher the Strength, the more you are likely to feel the aspect and to live it out in your life.

You are most likely to feel and act out the Spirit Success Report’s sign and house placement interpretations when the planets involved are strong in your chart.  This is true especially of the outer planets, Jupiter through Pluto.  The Astrodynes program, also available from Halloran Software, calculates the respective power and harmony of all the planets in your chart.

Planets in Signs

Sun in Sagittarius

(Keynote: I ASPIRE)

You are self-reliant, ambitious, optimistic and friendly.  You may also be sarcastic, self-indulgent, impatient and tactless.   Others may see you as irresponsible, and a capricious flirt.  The truth is you are acutely aware of human values and enjoy improving potential.  You relate well to children, animals and the environment, and find them all fascinating.  You avoid commitment, which you feel restricts your freedom to expand.  Your bluntness often disguises a compassionate heart, deserving of rewards for your generous contributions to our planet.

Moon in Capricorn

(The Notorious)

You are usually cautious and realistically-discerning, but your ambition could place you in an unfavorable light if you are not entirely above-board in your dealings.  The same self-assurance and executive ability that can bring you the prominence you desire can also attract the envy of others who would destroy your chances of fame.  You appear to be austere, emotionless and calculating, and should develop lighter moods that allow your priceless sense of humor to emerge and make you seem more in sync with your peers.  To be a leader of people, you must first let them see that you are one of them.

Mercury in Capricorn

(The Logician)

You are a strategist who employs systematic methods and are seldom upset, unless your plans are disturbed.  You communicate with others by getting right to the point with a minimum of wasted effort.  Others may consider you sober, self-righteous and too rigid to enjoy life, but what they think of as “rigid”, you believe to be structured, “sober” as merely serious, and “self-righteousness” is your pride in accomplishments that you have earned the hard way.

Venus in Capricorn

(The Austere)

You are extremely aware of social status and chances to improve your position.  Your determination and ambition are admired by your business associates.  You may marry the “boss’s daughter/son”.  Once committed, you are unswervingly faithful and loyal, but your marriage can be “an arrangement” rather than a love-match.  You will make your family proud, but may deprive your spouse or others of affection, due to your emotional nature, which is often severe and unyielding.

Mars in Capricorn

(The Enduring)

Your life is geared for success.  Even your close relationships can be exploited to advantage.  You are selective in your goals and methods to achieve them.  Your intuition and ambition work together to overcome obstacles that would defeat one with less fortitude.  You often burden yourself with the problems of others, viewing each as a learning experience.  You may receive your rewards late in life, but are sure to be honored for your hard work.

Jupiter in Aries

(The Pioneer)

You see the potential in everything and everybody, but success is not the same for everyone.  While nothing seems impossible to you, others are not blessed with your optimism that “where there’s a will, there’s a way.”  Undaunted by failure, you will not settle for less than the best and will try to reach a star, long after you’ve gained a mountain-top.

Saturn in Aquarius

(The Apprentice)

You are a student of the universe and will explore different avenues, while attracting a variety of friends. Many of these will be with you for your lifetime of discovery.  You will delve into both orthodox and progressive values before adapting them to your own original purposes.  Your findings may have intrinsic worth in your later years.  Don’t discount their significance.  A master is no less a master because he must adhere to a need for creature comforts.

Uranus in Virgo

(The Quirky)

You have talent for discovering unusual types of diet and herbal remedies, but must present an authoritative platform before encouraging others to try them.  Otherwise, you may be taken as a “quack” instead of a mechanist who qualifies as a valuable teacher.  A government position may introduce you to other countries and the fundamentals in ancient science as your foundation.  Employ a critical eye as a useful tool when discerning suitable applications in the healing arts.

Neptune in Scorpio

(The Initiator)

You take great delight in other people’s secrets and may use them to advantage. If you have information that needs disclosure for the benefit of others, you may expose it in a subtle, but effective way.  You may also use your knowledge to promote a principle or public figures while working behind the scenes.  A leaning towards self-indulgence needs careful monitoring so that your strength is not used in abusive ways, but as a benefactor who prefers to remain anonymous.

Pluto in Virgo

(The Restorers)

You have a rare opportunity of renovating the world in carefully-structured channels when the environment seems at its lowest ebb.  Drugs, disease, addictions and crime will no longer be tolerated.  You will have a major part in seeing that justice is done.  Law-makers, and those who execute the law will be among your peers, as well as some who are willing to educate those who truly desire self-improvement as their contribution to elevate mankind.

North Node in Cancer

(The Regressor)

Your biggest stumbling block is your pride.  If you don’t receive the respect you feel you deserve, you will distance the love you desire.  Learn to give without expectation of rewards and remember the selfless nurturing received in childhood.  Offer that same care to others who need it now, if you would receive full value for emotional investments.

Planets in Aspect

Mars trine Uranus  (Strength:  5.86)

(The Expressive)

You will find positive ways to release your tremendous store of energy, and may direct it into a career or some “life work” of an unusual nature.  You will never go unnoticed because you express as a “different” kind of individual.  Your unique imprint is on whatever you touch, whether constructive or destructive.  Each success builds your confidence to move onward and upward.  You are adventurous and are liable to “climb a mountain just because it’s there.”

Mars square Jupiter  (Strength:  5.65)

(The Aggressive)

Your self-confidence and desire for expansion can tempt you to over-extend yourself or appear too assertive.  If you push instead of using persuasive powers or seem threatening to others, you may defeat your purpose.  Good generals employ well thought-out strategy with force and link diplomacy with surrender.  It is not in your nature to accept “second best.” You should carefully consider the feelings and acceptance of others when presenting your strategic campaigns.

Moon conjunct Venus  (Strength:  5.12)

(The Reveler)

You are a party-goer, a party-giver and may exploit your social abilities in a commercial venture.  Shopping for the trappings that call attention to your good taste is a way of life.  You are usually in good spirits and good health and are depressed only when you feel neglected or unable to indulge yourself in the luxuries money can buy.  Use your talents to create beauty.  Your artistic gifts can compensate for an empty purse and bring you the praise of others to enjoy.

Mercury trine Pluto  (Strength:  3.89)

(The Novice)

You view yourself as a perpetual student of life, an apprentice who has much to learn, so will attract those who can increase your knowledge. Your interest may include studies of self-enlightenment, such as psychology, psychotherapy or metaphysical sciences.  You will concentrate on that to which you feel drawn or “called,” and at which you prove most adept.  Eventually, you may share your knowledge, but only when you feel worthy of the universal degree of “Master.”

Saturn square Neptune  (Strength:  3.65)

(The Troubled)

You take yourself seriously and often compound your problems by assuming sole blame.  You may be pessimistically blind in your outlook and cry “Why me?” instead of opening your eyes to practical and available answers.  Learn to appreciate what you have, beginning with yourself.  Try to use selflessness in helping others, or counsel with someone to raise your self-esteem to the place where you are not easily overwhelmed, and count your blessings on a day-to-day basis.

Mercury sextile Neptune  (Strength:  3.53)

(The Insightful)

Inner perception works to your advantage when negotiating with those who are usually difficult to fathom.  You “feel” more than “comprehend,” so can often satisfy the needs of others that are overlooked by those who deal strictly with reality.  If you successfully balance your understanding of spiritual and material values, you can share your knowledge with others and encourage them to develop their potential on a higher level than many would consider practical.

Jupiter inconjunct Uranus  (Strength:  2.79)

(The Overeager)

Your optimism is your weak point, as well as the thing that keeps you going against all odds.  If one door closes, you are sure to try to open a better one.  In spite of the fact that you often fail because you are ahead of your time, you believe that some day your ship will come in.  Prepare to unload it.  If you can stop overextending yourself, you may be in the right place at the right time.  Experience will prove that sometimes an element of fortune is necessary to succeed.

Mars trine Pluto  (Strength:  1.97)

(The Renewer)

As an instrument in the progress of mankind, you may taste fame, and even fortune, depending on where and how you direct your powerful energies.  If you know yourself well, you can identify with the needs of others and use your formidable drive to benefit society as a leader.  If motivated by selfishness, you may receive some satisfaction from personal gain but will sacrifice the true distinction of contributing to the universe on the altar of prideful self-esteem.

Uranus conjunct Pluto  (Strength:  1.83)

(The Unrestrained)

You are convinced that new ways are the best ways because they are your ways.  Since you don’t take discipline readily, you may be in conflict with authority figures.  Older people with “old-fashioned ways” seem particular adversaries.  Your life is one of evolvement, without “encumbrances” to hold you back, including relationships.  You may be wise beyond your years, but must have the patience to wait until you know what the universe is about before trying to change it.

Neptune sextile Pluto  (Strength:  1.42)

(The Self-aware)

It is important that you have the support of your family and friends.  You are extremely sensitive and subject yourself to self-criticism that can be destructive and depressing.  It may be that you need professional help to build your self-esteem.  Later, you may transfer your intense feelings into knowledge you share with others.  You may pursue a career in psychiatry or psychology, but will continue to investigate your own psyche for answers as to what “makes you tick.”

Balance of Elements and Modalities

Abundant Earth

You are in touch with the real world.  More than others, you know where the rubber meets the road; persistent study has shown you how to make things happen in a practical sort of way.  Your nature is well-suited to the adult world of responsibilities, which you master at a young age.  Not impulsive with your resources, you would only start a business after careful study, but you would manage it well.  You enjoy the satisfaction that comes not just from starting projects, but from finishing them.  Your steady, organized approach is actually more productive in the long-run than is that of the quick, flashy types.  You know how to establish a pace and keep it.

Do not let your awareness of the material world make you unappreciative of the spiritual plane that underpins our life here — to which others may be more sensitive than you.  Practicality is fine, but try to understand that dreams, feelings, and enthusiasms are also important and should not be squelched.  Others might surprise you with what their optimistic risk-taking is able to achieve.  You can be so cautious and reserved that some people find you conservative and dull.  If you yourself become bored or depressed, admit that security isn’t everything and try to be more spontaneous.  Open up to the new and follow your bliss (in a careful sort of way).

Lack of Water

For you the world of feelings may be terra incognita.  Close interpersonal relations, which require the expression of feelings, and empathy for others’ feelings, do not come naturally or easily for you.  You have difficulty putting yourself in someone else’s shoes in order to feel what they feel.  You will learn how to deal with life in a tough, mental sort of way.  People looking for someone to empathize with them should not come to you.  Those people who are comfortable with you are not looking for emotional closeness.  It’s not that you don’t have emotions and feelings, but they do not come out easily in your relationships.  If you are an artist, they may come out in your art.  You probably take refuge from the difficulty of forming emotional connections by concentrating on intellectual, practical, or inspired activity.  Your best companions would be those who are able to inhabit these realms with you, but who are also in touch with their feelings.  They can help you to contact your own feelings and teach you to respect and honor other people’s feelings.

A lack of planets in Water signs can be offset by a Water sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the houses of Endings.

Lack of Air

Expressing yourself does not come easily to you.  You distrust people who are fast, smooth talkers.  It may be easier for you to express yourself nonverbally or in writing than it is through speaking.  If you also lack planets in the houses of Relationships, you will find the normal avenues of communication and social learning blocked.  Your thinking will be personal instead of detached or rational.  With the mind’s normal communication channels blocked, you learn primarily from experience.  Lacking in the ability to view yourself objectively, you gain self-understanding primarily through feedback from others.

Try to see life less personally, in a more objective way.  Take classes and never stop educating yourself.

A lack of planets in Air signs can be offset by an Air sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the houses of Relationships.

Abundant Cardinal

With an abundance of planets in the Cardinal signs, you find it easy to function on your own as an autonomous individual.  You have a pretty good grasp of how the real world works, which you may have acquired through your willingness to try new things.  An active person, you find challenges stimulating.  Success comes through big ventures that others are too intimidated to attempt.  You would make a good entrepreneur, but look for other indications in your chart to see if you have the qualities needed to stay with a project or grow a business.  You’re not really a team player.  You are likely to encounter some problems in your life as a result of being so one-sidedly focused on your own goals and activities.  But you are good at overcoming problems.  Personal survival is important to you and you are capable of learning.  You manifest your love through a lack of fear that makes the future happen.

Lack of Fixed

With a lack of planets in Fixed signs, you probably find it difficult to settle down or concentrate on one thing for a long time.  You tend to be all over the place.  The advantage is that you are able to do many things at once and can move forward with change and growth when desirable.  You are a free spirit, not overly weighed down by attachments.  You may be daring, brave, and filled with ideas, but you need individuals in your life who can provide the structure and stability that you lack.  If necessary, you can force yourself to finish projects through mental discipline and willpower.

A lack of planets in the Fixed signs can be offset by a Fixed sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the Succedent houses.

Planets in Signs and Houses

Capricorn Ascendant

(The Constrained)

You seem, and may look, older than you are. You tend to hold your head high so it appears you are looking “down your nose” at the world. Your features are usually slender, and somewhat sharp. You have a clear, concise way of speaking with authority that causes others to pay attention. You are a student with a purpose, excellent study habits and are self-disciplined. Because you work hard and expect to succeed, you have a good chance of doing so on your terms.

Sun in the Twelfth House

(The Recluse)

Some view this placement as the result of a misuse of power in past lives, because you are unduly hard on yourself. Your over-active mind is impressionable. You may become a square peg in a round hole if you wear the mask of others as your own. You require periods of seclusion for rest and self-examination, because you question why “no-one” understands you. If you seek counseling, you may become a counselor to help others avoid the pain of your experiences. You, too, are deserving. Acknowledge that if you are your own worst enemy, you can be your own best friend.

Moon in Cancer

(The Homemaker)

You identify with your heredity, which you probably revere. If you compare your environment with that of your early years, or romanticize your childhood out of proportion, it will be difficult to establish a life of your own away from familiar surroundings. Because you sympathize with others, you feel justified in “crying on their shoulders,” but must realize some do not share your protective feelings. Your home must be emotionally satisfying. You will probably be a good parent, but may be overly-strict, as if you were responsible for a child’s actions as an adult, which still reflect on you.
Moon in the Sixth House

(Les Miserables)

A devotion to duty, when coupled with the psychological impact of feeling “used”, can result in what can only be termed a “martyr complex.” Because you are serious by nature, you will allow, and even insist on bearing the impositions of others; then fretting over your oppressions until you make yourself ill. Learn to know what is your package, and then how to balance it so that it becomes not a BURDEN, but a steadying agent as you approach maturity.

Mercury in the First House

(The Promoter)

You know yourself well and think on your feet. You can express your point of view but may be scattered and easily distracted. You may lack follow-through so that others think you too superficial to be taken seriously. You often talk yourself into a desirable situation and lose it because of a tendency to hyperbolize. Choose and channel your words with discipline. Learn to be a good listener. Remember, nothing worth remembering is accomplished by talk, alone.
Venus in Aquarius

(The Unconventional)

You are attractive, intelligent and generous to a fault. Your outgoing nature and congenial personality make it easy for you to make friends. You are intrigued by the eccentric and bizarre and may become involved with some unusual companions. Since you are emotionally detached, some relationships are on a platonic basis. Perhaps it is because you enjoy giving rather than receiving that you distance yourself from intimacies that require commitment.
Venus in the First House

(The Charmer)

You’ll learn early how to utilize your good looks, sunny disposition and outgoing personality to attract friends and have little trouble getting your own way. Partners will always be important to you, so you should learn to share willingly. Use as your spiritual guide the lesson of St. Francis: “…It is by giving that one receives.” Perfect your gift of beauty on your personal universe. There is no better way to use it.
Mars in Scorpio

(The Excessive)

Many are attracted to your powerful magnetism, but may be frightened by the intensity with which you approach life in general and your desires in particular. You are in touch with your emotions, and may be governed by them so need discipline to succeed. You live on a grandiose scale. Everything is magnified by ten-plus and receives the full force of your energy until you are satisfied with your achievements. You are an unrelenting foe and the most magnanimous of friends.
Mars in the Eleventh House

(The Campaigner)

You will use your ability to work with people to achieve your personal goals. You may have only a few close friends, because you are too busy enlarging your circle to establish many permanent relationships. You weren’t born to be a team-player, but will find that support is necessary to further your ambitions. Cooperation and coordination should be your key words for success and play a major part in your life-pattern of expansion.
Jupiter in Cancer

(The Weight-watcher)

You may attract and absorb too much of a good thing, if you are a gourmet cook, or take the world’s burdens on your sympathetic shoulders. Your acumen in business is unquestioned, but without someone to share your triumphs, you become disconsolate. What you do for others is done from love; a day without friends is indeed a day without sunshine.
Jupiter in the Sixth House

(The Co-worker)

People willingly work with you. You are a good worker, and make working conditions as pleasant as possible. You enjoy working in comfortable surroundings, and your jobs are personally gratifying. You may wish to socialize with your fellows, but too many lunches encourage a temptation to overindulge, with a result of unwanted pounds and inches.
Saturn in Capricorn

(The Controller)

Ambition motivates you to achieve your goals “no matter what!” It is your belief in your executive qualities of perseverance and discipline that will get you to the top and determination that will keep you there. Your relationships often take a back seat to your achievements, but man cannot live by bread, alone. Do not take yourself so seriously that you fail to permit the sweetness of the outside world to intrude, however briefly, in your somewhat solitary life.
Saturn in the First House

(The Burdened)

You were born with the weight of the world on your shoulders and a profound sense of what is proper and what is not. You take life seriously and assume responsibility, but are frequently disappointed when others don’t recognize your value. You may have to enlarge your concepts, and grow past a tendency to magnify your difficulties. Discard negativity. Childhood sicknesses may also vanish, releasing you from other inhibitions which have held you back.
Uranus in Capricorn

(The Departure)

You will occasionally relax your normally-austere facade and abandon your conventional ways. You enjoy originality and indulging your creative side, while keeping your aims intact. You are interested in balancing, rather than tipping the scales, and may hold offices that require tolerance, as well as authority. Your excellent powers of discernment encourage improving conditions for yourself and others, since you take a long-range, instead of a narrow view.
Uranus in the Twelfth House

(The Subversive)

You may work a lifetime to escape the harassment of those who don’t understand you. You tend to be reclusive under pressure, but this is not the answer to your problems. The secrets of your subconscious mind are waiting to be discovered. Your dreams may hold clues as to why negative ideas surface unbidden during your waking moments. Fortunately, you will attract the proper teachers to help you understand yourself when their advice is most needed.
Neptune in Capricorn

(The Mogul)

No matter what you put your hand to, it seems to come up gold. This is no accident, but the result of keen insight, careful planning, and the persistence to ride over rough times and wait until fortune smiles. You’re sometimes observed as a barometer for the stock market. Even obscure plans take shape under your direction. When you trust someone, you take his shortcomings as your own. If betrayed, your confidence can only be rebuilt by time and testing.
Neptune in the First House

(The Dreamer)

Your wonderful imagination can take you far in a career or work against you, personally. Idealistic by nature, you are easily led into situations that have little or no value, or you may guide others erroneously. You are self-effacing and often self-sacrificing since it is hard to turn away those who ask your help. Unusual childhood experiences should convince you to take a second look at life before plunging headlong into spaces that even angels may avoid.
Pluto in Scorpio

(The Regenerator)

You are a believer in second chances, but a tendency to hold fast to everything past the time of practicality weakens your effectiveness to accept new opportunity. You are always stronger because of the wisdom gained in past experiences. On a world-scale, you can offer the proof of your convictions that there is much that may be salvaged for renewal, rather than a stubborn determination to do things your way at the expense of the greater good.
Pluto in the Tenth House

(The Super-Achiever)

Never mind if your foresight is not as good as your hindsight! You learn through experience and must explore a whole spectrum before making solid decisions that will stick. All knowledge you acquire can be utilized. Try to dodge the power plays you seem to invite and resist achieving success at a price to others. Yours is always a “never say die” attitude. Once you find your true calling, nothing much can keep you from the success you deserve.
Scorpio Midheaven

You will do well in a career which involves your ability to feel out and involve others in a collaborative venture. You are emotionally intuitive, both about potential partners and about the direction of society as a whole, so that you can speak what people are feeling. You yourself may have gone through deep transformations connected to traumatic events. You are comfortable reaching down into the depths of any subject and so make a good researcher or investigator. You are happiest in an occupation which allows you to explore and produce constructive results. Your strength may involve you in a power struggle with authorities until you can achieve a compromise. Your commitment is such that you make a dangerous enemy. Some people with this placement are so inflexible that they stay with a job that they hate.

Power and control will be issues in your life. You have the ability to coordinate the efforts of others in teamwork, handling power tactfully and with concern for the rights of others. Work with others for transformation and improvement, as opposed to maintenance of the status quo, and you will enjoy great success. Selfishness, ruthlessness, and overkill are the negative possibilities of this placement. Try to spread both the effort and the benefits to others.

Occupations consistent with your intense style of work include investigator, researcher, critic, engineer, programmer, mechanic, contractor, wrecker, exterminator, dramatic writer or poet, sex therapist, tailor, musician, entrepreneur, government or large company worker, surgeon, chemist, pharmacist, detective, psychologist, mortician, insurance actuary, artist, or the military. For the most personal career guide, also consider the nature of any planets which fall in the 10th house or conjoin the Midheaven, the sign and house placements of Pluto, ruler of the Midheaven, and any aspects which other planets make to the Midheaven.
Planets in Aspect

Mercury opposite Jupiter (Strength: 9.26)

(The Grandiose)

You attract opportunities which exploit your enthusiasm and positive attitude, and accept learning challenges without doubting your ability to achieve. Others may call you “cocky” or complaisant if you brag about your success. You may have a yen to travel to expand your understanding of the universe by exploring the beliefs of others. If you balance what you desire with realistic thinking, you should have no trouble in setting and reaching your goals with energy to spare.
Mercury conjunct Ascendant (Strength: 8.83)

(The Accelerator)

You are quick to recognize and seize an opportunity for personal progress. You may create openings for your advancement, since no one can sell yourself better than you. You know what you want and can find a way to achieve it. Try not to react or take the criticism of others to heart, unless they are in authority, as they may stand in your way or delay your success. You know yourself well. Elevate your sights beyond what is available and set yourself higher goals.
Moon opposite Uranus (Strength: 7.91)

(The Late Bloomer)

You may be reluctant to release old patterns from early childhood, or feel guilty as you grow away from familiar habits ingrained by a mother-figure. However, your inquisitive nature presses you to explore new methods that will help you expand. Once you decide on liberation, develop patience to learn the result of your actions before insisting others follow your example, whether or not they share your enthusiasm for drastic change.
Mercury conjunct Neptune (Strength: 6.06)

(The Fanciful)

Your wonderful imagination can inspire you to investigate your higher self or explore the mysteries to acquire an understanding of the deeper meanings of the occult. However, you may have difficulty distinguishing fantasy from reality which can make relationships and your goals uncertain. At times, your confusion may be so great that you will question your reason for being, but if rationale fails to satisfy you, turn inward for answers inherently and uniquely yours.
Saturn conjunct Neptune (Strength: 5.41)

(The Anxious)

Your task is to define reality as opposed to “feelings” or the confusion that often results from self-doubt. It may seem easier to believe in Murphy’s Law: “If things are bad, they’re bound to get worse.” (Or, if you prepare for disappointment, it is no surprise when it comes.) Negativity can be overcome. You have a good grasp on what works for you; the imagination to turn a sow’s ear inside out, find the silk purse inside and create practical ways to market it.
Jupiter opposite Uranus (Strength: 5.09)

(The Roller Coaster)

There is likely to be more “roll” than “coast” in your life and it is up to you to develop the ability to go with the flow of things beyond your control. What may happen when unexpected challenges occur is that a need for independence is called to your attention. If you resist change, you may be “stuck” with restrictions that limit your growth. Opportunity for expansion can allow the shedding of your burdens in trade for a new start without old hindrances to hamper you.
Neptune conjunct Ascendant (Strength: 4.78)

(The Wistful)

You are imaginative, spiritual, intuitive and romantic. With early guidance, you can develop the practicality to make your wishes come true. You are intelligent and ambitious, but must acknowledge the difference between reason and fantasy to balance your scales. Your special gifts help others to enjoy dreams they dare not dream, appreciate your compassion and admire your idealistic nature. You can soften the harsh light of reality, rather than retire into the shadows of illusion.
Moon conjunct Jupiter (Strength: 4.34)

(The Equipollent)

You have a strong conviction that what you put into something will be returned in equal measure. In most cases you are right, and since you project confidence, enthusiasm, nurturing and good will, that is what you attract. However, you must avoid temptations to acquire “too much of a good thing.” You are, by nature, given to excesses. Don’t allow your optimism to lure you with empty hopes and promises into depths beyond your reach and over your head.
Uranus conjunct Ascendant (Strength: 4.18)

(The Expectant)

You are eager for the new or innovative, original in your personal goals and assume that you will achieve them. “Nothing is impossible,” because you visualize your needs and are objective enough to succeed, without becoming entangled in your emotions. You may feel partnerships are too restrictive to fit into your ever-expanding plans for the future. Freedom is important, but not at the risk of alienating you from those who would share your dreams and rejoice in your fulfillment.
Jupiter opposite Neptune (Strength: 4.06)

(The Wastrel)

It is difficult for you to see “the trees for the forest” sometimes, because of your inclination to put a mask on reality. You mean well, but are extremely idealistic and can become lost in generalities, since you seldom “fine tune” the picture. Despite your abstractions, you are intuitive and may take risks that pay off. If you cannot be sure your plans are practical, take the advice of someone with more experience to keep you grounded, with a realistic chance at success.
Mercury conjunct Uranus (Strength: 3.08)

(The Restless)

Your mind is seldom inactive, but may be too inconsistent to be productive. Fields that may interest you enough to study and follow up are science, astrology, or communications. You can open new doors through innovative, if sometimes radical ideas. You may travel by unusual modes, such as in an air balloon, or be involved in space technology as a hobby or a profession. You need structure and concentration to exploit your creative gifts, or may squander them, uselessly.
Moon inconjunct Venus (Strength: 3.01)

(The Defiler)

Your daydreams can get you into trouble, if you fail to separate them from reality. You may be inconsistent in your plans, tend to be fickle and settle for “whatever feels good.” Your self-indulgence can lead to a variety of health problems due to promiscuity in sex or “escaping” into addictive substances. Moderation in all things will help to balance your impulsive nature. At least, try to look and listen before taking a leap that may well spell your downfall.

Moon opposite Mercury (Strength: 2.54)

(The Fluctuater)

Rather than face the “ups and downs” of everyday life, you may withdraw to get in touch with yourself. Sort out what is “real” and what is emotional confusion that often keeps you from maintaining a position. Since you will always relate to childhood programming, it is important that you have practical guidance that will afford you security you will need as you mature. If you lack stability, periods of meditation may give you an insight to employ when you need it most.

Mercury conjunct Saturn (Strength: 2.16)

(The Cautious)

You are apt to take a negative point of view so that you can be “prepared for the worst.” If you are narrow in your opinions of people, you will criticize them out of your life, but you can also see through attempts to deceive you or correct imperfections in relationships, as long as you are open to change. Learn not to project an attitude of gloom and if you have genuine complaints, air them before they are misinterpreted through your wary actions.

Saturn conjunct Ascendant (Strength: 1.91)

(The Frugal)

You are wise beyond your years and expect to work hard to achieve your ends, which may account for a reluctance to relax and enjoy your gains. Being narrow in your views or too set in your ways can make you old before your time. Solemnity and practicality do not have to go hand-in-hand. Sharing with others will bring you what you most desire — compassion and loving warmth to melt a formidable facade with an invitation to join wholeheartedly in the game of life.

Saturn sextile Pluto (Strength: 1.15)

(The Projector)

You utilize your possessions as though preparing for a “rainy day,” realize the value of the intrinsic and look ahead to events that may never happen. You may not enjoy youth because you are so serious about getting ahead in the world — not from need — but from an inherent desire to always have “enough.” It is doubtful you will want for much! Allow for small pleasures of time’s design. Whoever observed that “money can’t buy happiness” said a well-chosen mouthful.

Jupiter opposite Saturn (Strength: 0.32)

(The Alibis)

You may fantasize heroic adventures, but think others hold you back. You find reasons why you can’t “go and do.” The truth is you probably have trouble letting go of the familiar to explore the unknown. Though you complain, you are a hard worker, accept responsibility, and should be able to expand your horizons. To paraphrase the poet: “It is better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all!” There is always a c

hance you will exceed your expectations!

Balance of Elements and Modalities

Abundant Water

In your case, the heart rules the head. Your emotional drives are strong and you act primarily on the basis of your feelings. Whether your feelings are purely personal, interpersonal, or transpersonal is up to you, but generally you are a life-oriented person who feels keenly and who acts to support your family, friends, and community. You are happiest when you are in a caring relationship with a significant other. That person should be comfortable with the emotional closeness that you bring to relationships, while providing the structure or inspiration that you need. Some of your friends will not be as comfortable with emotional closeness as you are, and you will have to respect their boundaries. You have probably learned over the years how to keep your sensitive nature from being hurt. Don’t permanently withdraw, but find the people with whom and the environment in which you can be yourself.

Because of your sensitivity, you easily pick up others’ thoughts and feelings. You can anticipate others’ needs before they have expressed them. You can usually rely on your intuition when it comes to forecasting the outcome of personal and career decisions. If you decide to use your psychic abilities for healing, learn to let go of the negative feelings that you process from others. Since you are so sensitive, find quiet moments for private introspection in which you can reconnect with what you feel instead of what others feel. You also find it revitalizing to be around large bodies of water.

You do have a need to stop and think things through before acting. Make the effort to communicate with others who may have a more objective viewpoint or who could see solutions that elude you. You can sometimes be criticized for acting from a purely personal perspective, which you could avoid by learning and respecting society’s larger viewpoint. You can be very creative in finding paths to your personal goals. Keep the larger viewpoint in mind and later you will not have to try to rationalize to others why you chose those paths.

Lack of Fire

You are willing to let flashier individuals take center-stage and lead the way. You are probably unenthusiastic about change and are passive when it comes to creating change through leadership. You may be aggressive in a defensive way, but lack the self-confidence to take the offensive. Lacking the impulsiveness of Fire, you are more likely to be a careful worker and a reliable mate, though you could stand to be less detached and more personally involved with your spouse and family.

A lack of planets in Fire signs can be offset by a Fire sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the houses of Life.
Abundant Substance

With abundant planets in the houses of substance, you know your place in the material world. You know how to extract value and give value via your business, work, and career activities. The rules of the world come easily to you. Others admire and depend on your hard work and practical nature. If you get depressed, make time for recreation and family.
Abundant Life

Abundant planets in the houses of life gives you both the energy and the urge to create the future. By your activities, you make the world a better place. You may be somewhat self-centered, but with your crusading spirit you move the world towards the ideals that you envision.
Lack of Relationships

Relating to other people probably plays a minor role in your life. You could remain unmarried, be a loner, or even be an orphan. Your thinking is probably subjective or personal, without the objectivity that comes from having communicated with many people. Let others teach you by showing you and if they give you any feedback on your thinking, see if you can learn from it.

A lack of planets in the houses of Relationships can be offset by abundant planets in Air signs.

Lack of Mutable

With a lack of planets in the Mutable signs, you probably go your own way in life without caring too much what other people think. You know what you want and see little need to compromise. You lack flexibility and adaptability. You do best when you can establish a pace and stick to it. Leave those sports and activities that require fast reactions and adaptability to others.

Sometimes you say things that offend others, because you are not especially concerned with the feelings or opinions of others. In fact, you sometimes appall your friends with your single-mindededness and lack of sensitivity. Because of your individuality, people who are attracted to change and variety may find you stimulating at first, but after a while might find your predictability to be boring. This is unlikely to keep you from pursuing your path. Your path involves being yourself and changing the world. Just don’t insist that others be like you.
A lack of planets in the Mutable signs can be offset by a Mutable sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the Cadent houses.
Abundant Cadent

An abundance of planets in the cadent houses helps to make you versatile and adaptable. You are flexible in your plans, adapting easily to changes or to the people whom you meet. You may travel a lot or move frequently. You are a good listener and communicator. You will use your mind a lot or frequently spend time alone during your life.
Abundant Angular

An abundance of planets in the angular houses helps to give you drive and initiative. It makes you active in the external world. Expressing your individuality is important to you. You are probably a leader who enjoys challenges and can get things moving.
Lack of Succedent

A lack of planets in succedent houses gives you a certain emotional detachment. You do not pay much attention to the pleasures of the body or to cultivating a particular group of friends. Enjoying life is not the most important thing to you. You act not on the basis of feeling or principle, but from necessity. You tend to be a restless wanderer of either the world or the mind.

A lack of planets in the Succedent houses can be offset by abundant planets in the Fixed signs.

Astrology Reading for Sagittarius – 12.3.1972 – Rising Sign: Unknown

Moon in Scorpio

(The Warrior)

Your ability to attract is so powerful that you can bring about almost anything you wish — and some things that you would rather evade.  Your emotions are intense and close to the surface.  You project them into your manner, and when you speak it is usually with authority so that others are compelled to listen.  You are self-reliant and would rather fight your battles alone with the confidence you will emerge as victor.  You are as determined in love as you are in conflicts, but few understand the intensity of your dominant nature or have a desire to endure your possessiveness.

Mercury in Scorpio

(The Detective)

You are a master at exposing secrets, but allow others to know only what you wish to disclose.  In solving problems, you have no peer.  Your stubborn determination will not let you rest until you are satisfied with results you personally approve.  You speak forcefully, and sometimes sarcastically, not always to your credit.  You may explore the occult or mind control.  Only the highly evolved realize that such power is a privilege, not a given, and use it wisely.

Venus in Scorpio

(The Passionate)

Your tempestuous nature is evident to anyone or anything you decide to possess or oppose.  You refuse to take “no” for an answer.  Others bend to your will because you are determined to have your own way, even if the result is not in your best interest.  Jealousy is a self-defeating fault, as is possessiveness.  Turn your power into self-control.   You have the ability to overcome negative qualities and lay a proper foundation to succeed in gaining what you desire most.

Jupiter in Capricorn

(The Traditionalist)

You may need to relax your conventionally-narrow views, to gamble now and then on human nature to prevail in the face of overwhelming obstacles.  Once you have decided to reveal yourself as the fine, understanding person you are, you should have no trouble taking your place successfully in public office, where you can lead the masses to enlightenment.

Saturn in Gemini

(The Vassal)

Responsibilities of loved ones can limit your outstanding ability to express yourself.  You may adopt a life of fantasy to escape becoming hard or bitter.  Many writers epitomize your frustrations: Beatrix Potter, Ralph Waldo Emerson and the Bronte Sisters among them.  They were visionaries who overcame “self” to share a corner of their indomitable spirits.  Your lack of freedom is far less meaningful than the opportunity for self-discipline you will learn to value.

Uranus in Libra

(The Bohemian)

You have artistic talent and appreciate modern, as well as traditional forms.  You are intelligent, ambitious and determined, but may change your goals too often. Your creative imagination and intuitive gifts blend well.  Relationships are trying, as you choose unlikely companions.  You make enemies because of unusual ideas, independence and your caustic wit. Once your efforts are channeled, you may attract opportunities that will lead to the success you have dreamed of.

Neptune in Sagittarius

(The Sage)

You have a talent for understanding human nature and an uncanny ability to know what makes people “tick.”  You are a perpetual student, and a gifted teacher.  Your thirst for knowledge will prompt you to travel extensively.  Try to remember that you must accept the customs of another country before they will accept you.  Your beliefs are unconventional.  You will continue to learn by experience and teach in love as did Plato, Socrates and their descendants in spirit.

Pluto in Libra

(The Rational)

As peacemaker, it is second-nature to act as liaison in fostering partnerships that contribute to world-harmony.  Your high intellect and demand for justice may place you in public service where you can aid worthy causes by your involvement. Your love of truth may influence big business, where deceit will be overcome with honor.  On an individual level, all this may be accomplished by setting an example through the simple amenities you practice every day.

North Node in Capricorn

(The Infant)

You may be a “mama’s baby,” and enjoy the role, but must give up childhood pampering, or continue tossing on a sea of emotional turmoil.  When you assume adult responsibilities, you will exercise your fine qualities of honor, loyalty and discipline.  Then you will earn the respect and pride, as well as the love of parents and peers, which you have always known.

Planets in Aspect

Venus conjunct Mars  (Strength:  5.34)

(The Vivacious)

Your desire for affection is ongoing and you don’t mind being aggressive if you see someone you want as a friend or lover.  You express your creativity in dress, look and manner and know how to approach others without seeming “pushy.”  You make yourself the center of attention so you will attract those who are impressed with your enthusiasm.  Relationships may be over as quickly as they begin, since you crave variety and are always on the lookout for new worlds to conquer.

Mars sextile Jupiter  (Strength:  3.68)

(The Self-assured)

You have the ability to work with unflagging energy.  A desire to accomplish goals quickly inspires others to follow you willingly, since you have the courage of your convictions and are confident of winning.  You are not a team player, but will accept and learn from the views of those you respect. You have excellent timing and will initiate action at the appropriate moment.  Your fascination with law expands your knowledge and reinforces your conviction of “justice for all.”

Venus sextile Jupiter  (Strength:  3.66)

(The Charitable)

You gladly share your fortune with those who need advice, money or just a lift in spirits.  Because you make yourself available to the downtrodden does not mean that you are in a position to be “used,” since you are astute in business and aware of flaws in human nature, which can be indulged through too much “humanity.”  You believe in a law of the universe which provides that you must replenish that which you have taken and are therefore never in short supply, yourself.

Neptune sextile Pluto  (Strength:  2.87)

(The Self-aware)

It is important that you have the support of your family and friends.  You are extremely sensitive and subject yourself to self-criticism that can be destructive and depressing.  It may be that you need professional help to build your self-esteem.  Later, you may transfer your intense feelings into knowledge you share with others.  You may pursue a career in psychiatry or psychology, but will continue to investigate your own psyche for answers as to what “makes you tick.”

Moon conjunct Mars  (Strength:  2.69)

(The Tempest)

You may hold angry feelings beyond the time you should and suddenly explode with the force of a hurricane.  Those closest to you will receive the brunt of your fury, since the cause of your displeasure is usually very personal and you will not display it in public.  Inner disquiet may be exchanged for productive energy in physical work.  If controlled, real strength may evolve from the same ego energy you tend to exhibit in a subjectively-negative manner.

Moon inconjunct Saturn  (Strength:  2.45)

(The Guilt-stricken)

A victim of self-restrictions, you must learn early-on to open your mind to positive ways of expression.  “New thought” philosophies may be helpful in overcoming youthful programming or a need to accept too many responsibilities too soon.  Try to develop a sense of humor.  Self-limitations are as likely as burdens forced on you by others. “Lighten up” or you may suffer severe emotional suppression with a variety of physical impairments as undesirable demonstrations.

Moon conjunct Venus  (Strength:  2.03)

(The Reveler)

You are a party-goer, a party-giver and may exploit your social abilities in a commercial venture.  Shopping for the trappings that call attention to your good taste is a way of life.  You are usually in good spirits and good health and are depressed only when you feel neglected or unable to indulge yourself in the luxuries money can buy.  Use your talents to create beauty.  Your artistic gifts can compensate for an empty purse and bring you the praise of others to enjoy.

Saturn trine Uranus  (Strength:  1.83)

(The Technician)

You prepare for the future by attending to the present, but are not easily upset by unexpected changes, since you realize that “nothing is forever.”  If you feel that some modification or adjustment is in order, you will try to accommodate it within your structure.  But, a need for new skills is met with the idea that you will have extra tools to advance your position.  You are open to utilizing new ideas without sacrificing what you have worked hard to establish.

Sun opposite Saturn  (Strength:  0.88)

(The Jinxed)

You may feel “unlucky” because you are engulfed by outside circumstances.  It is difficult for you to express your opinions or feelings to others who neither sympathize with nor understand you.  You are easily discouraged.  Use your inherent honesty to separate yourself from the idea that you are being “picked on.”  Communication is the key to relief from your depression.  You have many fine qualities and must find a way to put them across to your oppressors.

Sun conjunct Neptune  (Strength:  0.79)

(The Metaphysician)

A low ego profile suits you to administer unselfishly to the world’s ills.  However, you must first overcome your own limitations.  Temptations to yield to low physical energy, a genius for deception and an addictive personality may force difficult choices.  If you serve those similarly afflicted, you will exhibit a compassion only you may understand.  Your sacrifices will be rewarded with a serenity known by few, but full payment will be exacted for your indiscretions.

Moon sextile Jupiter  (Strength:  0.37)

(The Helper)

As a student of life, you have a “live and let live” philosophy, that includes the hapless creatures of the world. While you believe in individual freedom, you often extend a willing hand in time of trouble, and receive relief in kind from your many friends.  Last-minute “windfalls” may extricate you from financial problems.  Generous with your purse, you exemplify “casting your bread upon the waters” where it multiplies and returns to you in time of need.

Lack of Earth

You may be so focused on the “bigger picture” that you have difficulty managing the many details of life.  Balancing your checkbook or leaving your bedroom clean may seem beyond your abilities.  Other tasks may be important, but you find it hard to concentrate long enough to complete them.  Knowing your own lack of concentration and self-discipline, you may cling to established routines because you know that you are able to do important things through force of habit.  If you do not flit from job to job, you could hold onto a job or a relationship for too long because you do not trust that you will be secure without it.  Your lack of real world perspective may make it hard for you to distinguish that which really matters from that which is unimportant, so that you sometimes focus on small things while leaving the really big things undone.  You may say that you care about money, but unless you have abundant planets in the houses of Substance, you will not execute a detailed plan to get it.  If you can avoid driving them crazy, enlist the help of those more grounded than yourself in order to turn your inspirations into reality.

A lack of planets in Earth signs can be offset by an Earth sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the houses of Substance.

Abundant Fixed

With an abundance of planets in Fixed signs, you have the staying power to complete a project, grow a family, or expand a business.  Your strength is what friends notice most about you.  You have definite values; you focus your affections on the people and things that are part of your team.  Friendships formed over time are important to you.  You may be found at the center of a circle of friends, a large family, a government agency, or a business.  You understand the contribution that stability and security make to prosperity and growth.  It throws you off-balance when friends are not as reliable as you are or when love and ideals are not part of your life.  Concentrate on developing confidence in yourself, a wholesome world for your family or group, and binding others to you with love.  If you have a weakness, it is trouble changing or listening when people tell you a better way to do things.  You can handle this weakness by empowering your team, as among them will be individuals who are good at reacting to a constantly changing world.

Astrology Reading for Sagittarius -11.26.1985 – Rising Sign: Taurus

Planets in Signs and Houses

Taurus Ascendant

(The Steadfast)

There is a look of substance about you.  Others admire your thick hair, which may be curly or wavy.  Though slow to anger, you may use force to defend yourself when aroused.  You are resolutely stubborn, and generous beyond your means, to the point of being foolish.  Others value your friendship and you are a welcome guest.  You would rather be a “boss” than an employee, but will always give your best to a job, because you don’t know how to do anything “half-way.”

Sun in the Seventh House

(The Partner)

Partnerships will always take precedence in your life because of the power you give them.  You feel the need of another person to keep you in balance.  It is vital that you learn how to compromise your views to agree with those of other people.  Though you may be the primary agent in a relationship, at some time you may have to take a subordinate position.  If you are not prepared to do this, your pairing will suffer and may turn into an open conflict.  Partnership requires team effort.  Do your best to find solutions to problems that will benefit you both.

Moon in Taurus

(The Conservative)

Your emotions are stable, giving you a positive outlook and a belief that you are responsible for your own happiness.  You are ambitiously-materialistic and like to associate with successful people.  You have a good rapport with most women.  You probably have a pleasant speaking or singing voice, which you may utilize in a career, but must be careful of infections or tensions which can produce serious throat problems.  This is particularly true if you encounter rebuffs, since you tend to be possessive and do not take rejection well.  You may express suppressed frustrations on a physical plane.

Moon in the First House

(The Mystic)

You value the counsel of a mother-figure, but may not take her suggestions.  Women will always boost your sense of spiritual self-worth.  You are deeply aware of your superb intuition, but are inconsistent, so may not use it to advantage.  If you can’t understand your actions, consider your rising sign, since you closely identify with your ASC. You are affected by the emotions of others.  Try to tune into their needs and help to achieve them.

Mercury in Sagittarius

(The Motivator)

You may use your quick mind and powers of speech to uplift and support.  You enjoy the role of entrepreneur, but resent being relied on for solutions to problems that are not yours, since their weight impedes your progress.  You can lack the resolve it takes to stay on course, or spread yourself too thin, trying to grasp too much at once.  Beware that yours is not a life of “too much, too soon” or your later years will be empty of the challenge you love.

Mercury in the Eighth House

(The Mentalist)

You will discover early-on that (in your case) “mind over matter” is more than a saying.  You have great influence over others, and will find that you, in turn, are greatly impressed by the variety of people who will cross your path.  Your interests, provoked by a desire for self-discovery, may range from the occult to psychiatry.  Use what you find to improve yourself as a useful human being, willing to share your store of knowledge with your fellow man.

Venus in the Seventh House

(The Magnet)

You have no trouble bringing romance into your life.  You’re a born flirt, but may have trouble in stabilizing relationships.  Once you find the right person, you’ll marry for love (and, possibly someone who can support your extravagant tastes!)  You give and expect equality.  True love is met with true love.  But, learn to accept early that only through individual growth can you expand the best qualities of your marriage into the perfect union you seek.

Mars in Libra

(The Captivator)

An intensive yen for romance may tempt you to marry early and in haste, which is inviting trouble.  You enjoy life as an “attention-getter” with good looks and a congenial manner to attract those with the same qualities.  You will also inevitably provoke the jealousy that goes with popularity.  You’re really too intelligent to indulge your penchant for changing partners each time you dance.  You have what it takes to recognize the “right” one, with all you need to be happy.

Mars in the Sixth House

(The Team Captain)

You are impatient to achieve success.  You identify with any project personally, so always do your best.  As a team member, you may become frustrated if things don’t go your way. In charge, you expect your workers to share your enthusiasm and put forth the same effort you expend, but will demand the lion’s share of credit.  Add the respect of your followers to your laurels by sharing the rewards of your labor.  A demanding employer may also be a generous friend.

Jupiter in Aquarius

(The Cosmopolitan)

You are truly liberal in your humanitarian views.  What some call “idealistic,” you practice as a way of life.  You sympathize with minority needs and work with the majority to improve mankind.  Visionary gifts allow you a glimpse of the future. If you succeed in your efforts to enrich the world, it will be a far better place in which to live.

Jupiter in the Tenth House

(King O’ The Hill)

Your supreme self-confidence will take you far in a career.  As a public figure, you might try politics, or acting.  You usually know what you’re talking about, are conscious of your image and try to keep your actions above reproach.  Only if you take your success for granted, or over-extend yourself, are you likely to fail in your undertakings.

Saturn in Sagittarius

(The Persuader)

You have the ability to influence others to join a crusade; as long as you adhere to your high principles, they will admire and probably follow you without question. However, you must be prepared to encounter those who disagree with your beliefs and oppose you.  Carefully guard your words and actions because they can be held against you.  The flames you ignite may become a holocaust out of your control.

Saturn in the Seventh House

(The Odd Couple)

You will often find partners disagreeing with what you personally desire, or the means by which you achieve your ends.  Your values may be different, due to an age-gap.  You are likely to be too stubborn to give up your beliefs, methods, or a relationship, itself.  Agree to disagree or to accept the fact that you both have much to learn from association.   You can profit by enlarging your understanding to include an opposite point of view.

Uranus in Sagittarius

(The Diviner)

You are amazingly accurate in forecasting events or circumstances that come about.  You have a good grasp of logic, so are unlikely to exceed your gifts, but use them to research areas that may contribute to the future of mankind. You are unconventional in your beliefs, fearless in your concepts, and may adopt philosophy rather than religion as a guideline.  You should introduce prudence into your restless nature to create wisdom you may share with others.

Uranus in the Eighth House

(The Artful Dodger)

You’re somewhat of a plunger and inclined to involve other people in your investments.  You may receive windfalls which encourage you to believe you can exist on “luck,” alone. If you are in over your head, you may find yourself losing friends, loved ones and even having to look for a way to avoid debts you cannot repay.  You would do better to depend on your own resources for your income, unsteady as that may be, rather to chance risking all and losing.

Neptune in the Ninth House

(The Priest)

You are highly conscious of the spiritual side of life and may feel you are “called” to take your place as a theologian.  You need not become a minister in the orthodox sense, but can adopt and employ valuable philosophies.  Don’t be impatient to achieve your goals.  Allow opportunities to emerge as you grow in faith.  Recognize that the price of higher knowledge is often one of self-sacrifice that does not admit the ego as a constructive energy.

Pluto in the Seventh House

(The Autocrat)

You can expect to receive in kind whatever you devise, but may bite off more than you can chew.  In all partnerships you assume you will set the rules, but may find others have their own ideas and expect you to consider them.  If there are conflicts, you may face actions that are far from above-board, but if you are fair in your demands, you need not provoke destructive consequences.  You can use the powerful energies you project to strengthen your ties.

Capricorn Midheaven

You should find a career that takes advantage of your organizational ability.  You work pragmatically and consistently, and pay attention to the little things that make a difference.  You are very responsible in your career, displaying a high sense of duty.  You are ambitious, but are willing to carry a large share of the load on your way to the top.  Furthermore, you are not just a maintainer of the status quo or a reactor to events, but see in a clear-eyed way what needs to be done and will initiate action on your own.

Your choice of career typically displays an acknowledgement of financial and material realities.  It may not be flashy, but it is secure and worthwhile.  During your life, your patience may be tested by periods of loneliness, poor health, hard work, poverty, or problems with your marriage, children or aged dependents.  You may feel that your road has been a lonely one without much assistance.  If you give way to melancholy, you may become passive about your lot and suspiciously distrustful even of your friends.  Alternately, stress can cause you to become cynical and ruthless.  However, your greatest success will come in those areas where through long, hard work you complete tasks that others do not even attempt.

Occupations consistent with your material, ambitious style of work include executive, builder, real estate or agriculture worker, stockbroker, administrator, civil servant, computer scientist, academic, engineer, photographer, doctor, biologist, chemist, miner, metallurgist, or prolific author .  For the most personal career guide, also consider the nature of any planets which fall in the 10th house or conjoin the Midheaven, the sign and house placements of Saturn, ruler of the Midheaven, and any aspects which other planets make to the Midheaven.

North Node in Taurus

(The Conscientious)

You are aware of the values of society and surround yourself with obvious signs of wealth and propriety.  Still, you fret that you fail to impress others with your exemplary image.  Such pretense is unnecessary.  You are not judged by what you have, but who you are.  Like the prodigal son, yours are the riches of the universe and are free for the asking.

North Node in the First House

(The Individual)

You accomplish most when you “do it yourself,” but this does not mean you are capable of miracles.  First, you must know who you are and what you want; then how to make your plans work for you.  You may be tempted to lean on others, but that will only weaken your ability.  Refine your skills and learn to enjoy challenges, because your success-ratio is high.

Planets in Aspect

Sun conjunct Saturn  (Strength:  3.63)

(The Restricted)

You have a heavy sense of duty that often limits your own potential.  You tend to worry too much about “tomorrow,” even though your practicality and industry spurs you to accumulate necessary, if spartan things of life.  You sometimes make circumstances more difficult than they really are and may be accused of lacking a sense of humor.  Give yourself credit, not only for what you accomplish but for being a solid citizen that our planet can count on for the stability we need.

Ascendant conjunct North Node  (Strength:  3.60)

(The Reward)

Yours is a high potential for personal success.  You are self-assertive and enjoy doing things “your” way.  You seem to know what is best for you and how to get what you want, which is usually good for others, too.  Be open to opinions and views that differ from yours.  Partnerships may not be easy, but if you accept the lessons they offer, you will exceed your expectations.  True to the law of reciprocity, your life is as fulfilling as you choose to make it.

Moon opposite Saturn  (Strength:  3.31)

(The Reserved)

Partnerships are trying because you are an independent person who finds compromise difficult.  You may have a need to control if you feel others do not work in your best interest. Your failure to communicate or expose your feelings can cost you friends and business losses because none can penetrate the stone image you present.  If you and your plans are deserted, it may be that you give the impression that you prefer to be on your own and your wish for isolation is granted.

Mars sextile Uranus  (Strength:  2.47)

(The Uncommon)

The songs “MY WAY” and “I GOTTA BE ME” exemplify your lifestyle.  You must be your “own” person and claim individual credit for your efforts.  You react strongly to subconscious suggestions and should realize that “unexpected” events are “set ups” originating within you.  Your unique abilities must be encouraged and guided.  You can become expert at whatever you choose to explore, but develop self-doubt if held from the unusual methods you use to achieve results.

Sun conjunct Mercury  (Strength:  2.20)

(The Conversationalist)

You express your opinions and ideas well, and may preface each sentence with “I”, since your focus is on yourself.  If you are promoting your interests commercially, you will get your point across, but should listen to the views of others to enhance your chances of success.  You enjoy travel and meeting with people to exchange ideas.  You are a natural teacher.  If you show a flair for writing, voicing your opinions may be useful and is often the mark of a successful columnist.

Mercury sextile Jupiter  (Strength:  1.68)

(The Far-sighted)

Your attention is on your own desires and how to fulfill them.  You want to know your purpose in the scheme of things and will explore all possibilities. In acquiring self-understanding you recognize the importance of relationships.  While you are capable of standing on your own feet, you choose to interact with others, knowing that supportive friends can help attain your goals.  Your life can be one of learning, expansion and fulfillment.  You have only to choose the way.

Moon opposite Venus  (Strength:  1.13)

(The Mirage)

You believe in pleasures of the moment, but must be careful that you can pay your debts “tomorrow.”  You feel that you can have your own way just by being “you,” not from conceit, but that in some way you have a special birthright and the world owes you a living.  Much of what you fantasize may come about because of your positive attitude of expectation, but be prepared for those times when only the sweat of your brow will produce the results you desire.

Neptune sextile Pluto  (Strength:  0.73)

(The Self-aware)

It is important that you have the support of your family and friends.  You are extremely sensitive and subject yourself to self-criticism that can be destructive and depressing.  It may be that you need professional help to build your self-esteem.  Later, you may transfer your intense feelings into knowledge you share with others.  You may pursue a career in psychiatry or psychology, but will continue to investigate your own psyche for answers as to what “makes you tick.”

Jupiter square Pluto  (Strength:  0.22)

(The Despot)

You are almost certain to evoke the criticism of others and run into power plays because they feel threatened by your obsession with success.  If you are sure of your ground, you will defend your principles and convictions with all your might, but must first discern if you are right and can prove yourself and your ideals to all parties.  If you wish to lead others and gain their respect, you must examine yourself thoroughly to determine if you are above reproach.

Balance of Elements and Modalities

Abundant Fire

You are an active, future-oriented person who is not weighed down by past commitments.  You take advantage of new opportunities better than most.  Life for you can be a vibrant affair in which you passionately pursue causes, lovers, and experiences.  You have the self-confidence to be a leader.  Competitive and flamboyant, you have little patience for slow people or unexciting work.  When an activity interests you, you can be very generous with your time, energy, and money.  Find outlets for your gifts of creativity and intuition.

Watch out for a tendency to exaggerate or to be insensitive to others’ feelings.  More cautious types may envy and resent your free spirit and competitive nature.  You get bored easily and may depend on others to finish the projects that you start.  When your warmth is guided by love, wisdom, and positive goals you have the ability to heal and inspire others, but when you focus on your self or lack direction, your short-lived passions can affect others in destructive ways.

Abundant Relationships

With abundant planets in these houses, relationships and communications with others are likely to be central to your life.  You can help others by exchanging ideas and making connections between people.  You will probably maintain active contact with a wide circle of relatives, friends and acquaintances.  You keep abreast of new information via various media and your friends.

Lack of Substance

You are not the most grounded or practical person.  The rules of this material world are not well known to you.  Others may admire your dreams, but they could be impossible dreams.  You may find it difficult to choose, plan, and work towards a career or vocation.

A lack of planets in the houses of Substance can be offset by abundant planets in Earth signs.

Lack of Endings

You live on the surface of things, afraid to look within at what you really feel and want.  Perhaps your position is too precarious or the obligations too great to allow yourself this luxury.  You feel forced to maintain your personal status quo.  You come across to others as unfeeling.  Because personal feelings do not distract you, you might make a good scientist, though be aware that the greatest scientists let intuitive feelings be their guide.

A lack of planets in the houses of Endings can be offset by abundant planets in Water signs.

Lack of Cardinal

With a lack of planets in Cardinal signs, you may have trouble starting things.  You may be timid about developing and carrying out plans.  You would prefer to let others break the first ground of a new venture, so that you can pitch in and help once the outlines of the venture are clear.  You probably lack confidence in your mastery of the real world and survival in it.  You may substitute a rich inner life for your lack of action in the outer world.  In its highest form, you may be unusually creative or spiritually committed.  Ideas filter up as you focus on ‘being’ instead of ‘doing’.  Watch out for the lower manifestations, which are delegating tasks to others and pitying yourself over the lot that befalls you in life as a result of your lack of direction and initiative.  Your different perspective on life gives you valuable insights that let you make real contributions wherever you are.

A lack of planets in the Cardinal signs can be offset by a Cardinal sign ascendant or by abundant planets in the Angular houses.

Abundant Angular

An abundance of planets in the angular houses helps to give you drive and initiative.  It makes you active in the external world.  Expressing your individuality is important to you.  You are probably a leader who enjoys challenges and can get things moving.

Lack of Cadent

A lack of planets in the cadent houses tends to reduce the time that you have to yourself.  You may feel that you are always in the limelight or somehow involved with others.  This leaves you little time for solitary reflection.  The life of a spiritual recluse is not for you.  You don’t change quickly, but must gradually grow into changes.

A lack of planets in the Cadent houses can be offset by abundant planets in the Mutable signs.

Astrology Reading for Scorpio – 11.3.1983 – Rising Sign: Unknown

Sun in Scorpio

(Keynote:  I DESIRE)

You are resourceful, imaginative, sensitive and loyal, but are capable of being cruel, conniving, sarcastic and vengeful.  Your incisive mind gives you powers of decision that are irrefutable.  You are adept at gaining the confidence of others, though few people know you well.  You will fight for your beliefs against any odds.  Your regenerative qualities give you quick recovery from defeat or illness.  If you share these gifts wisely, benefits to mankind will be your monument.  Otherwise, you will have only destruction and waste to show for your corruption of power over a lifetime of abuse.

Moon in Libra

(The Dependent)

You have a burning desire to please and will go to great lengths to do so.  You cultivate an image of glamour and success, are probably a compulsive buyer and enjoy wearing distinctive and expensive clothes.  You attract easily, and are popular, but fickle.  You may be over-critical of your partners until you realize that, because you are easily-led, you need someone to help you make decisions.  You are either too lazy or insecure to try to develop much self-reliance.  A strong instinct that a special relationship is “fated” may lead you to the proper person to be your life-mate.

Venus in Virgo

(The Unappreciated)

Your feelings are vulnerable to the slights of others. Perhaps in retaliation, you have a tendency to overanalyze and criticize any partners in your life.  You may also invite those whose standards are not your own, thereby giving you an opportunity for such censure.  Use the discretion you employ in business to choose someone who will appreciate your fine qualities of selectivity and is able to expose the sympathetic nature you bury beneath the cool exterior you present.

Mars in Virgo

(The Indispensable)

You perform “to the letter” and often to an “nth” degree that is unnecessary.  You seem to have unlimited physical resources, take orders well and respect regimen, but may have difficulty in relating to co-workers.  In arguments, you express quickly, accurately, and, too often, sarcastically. You are a valuable helpmate in personal relationships, though a need to avoid expressing yourself in a superior manner should be recognized and modified to an acceptable level.

Jupiter in Sagittarius

(The Philosopher)

You are a student of life and gain your highest learning through experience, but can also expand your knowledge in metaphysical studies.  Your optimism and faith in humanity make you responsible for lighting and passing an eternal flame of wisdom to successive generations, where it will multiply a thousand times with every life it touches.

Saturn in Scorpio

(The Forceful)

The powerful image you create tempts you to thrust your ideas or will upon others, not always to their benefit — or YOURS — but just for a show of strength.  Your determination can make enemies and undermine your fine executive abilities.  Try to develop the compassion and flexibility inherent in all successful leaders.  Otherwise, your effectiveness will be limited.  You will be a champion without honor and must look to yourself for any rewards you receive.

North Node in Gemini

(The Whirlwind)

You try to stay so busy that personal commitment is impossible.  If you take on more than you can handle, you cannot blame yourself for “failures.”  You feel your education is inadequate.  True communication is never one-sided.  Allow others to voice their questions and opinions while you prepare answers gleaned from the worthwhile knowledge you possess.

Planets in Aspect

Sun conjunct Mercury  (Strength:  4.61)

(The Conversationalist)

You express your opinions and ideas well, and may preface each sentence with “I”, since your focus is on yourself.  If you are promoting your interests commercially, you will get your point across, but should listen to the views of others to enhance your chances of success.  You enjoy travel and meeting with people to exchange ideas.  You are a natural teacher.  If you show a flair for writing, voicing your opinions may be useful and is often the mark of a successful columnist.

Sun conjunct Saturn  (Strength:  4.14)

(The Restricted)

You have a heavy sense of duty that often limits your own potential.  You tend to worry too much about “tomorrow,” even though your practicality and industry spurs you to accumulate necessary, if spartan things of life.  You sometimes make circumstances more difficult than they really are and may be accused of lacking a sense of humor.  Give yourself credit, not only for what you accomplish but for being a solid citizen that our planet can count on for the stability we need.

Venus conjunct Mars  (Strength:  3.14)

(The Vivacious)

Your desire for affection is ongoing and you don’t mind being aggressive if you see someone you want as a friend or lover.  You express your creativity in dress, look and manner and know how to approach others without seeming “pushy.”  You make yourself the center of attention so you will attract those who are impressed with your enthusiasm.  Relationships may be over as quickly as they begin, since you crave variety and are always on the lookout for new worlds to conquer.

Venus square Neptune  (Strength:  2.66)

(The Hero-worshiper)

Your sense of the dramatic and a bent towards illusion can lead you to project more into a relationship than exists.  You may fasten your affections on a rich or famous person.  Or, you may live beyond your means keeping up with the “Joneses.” Your refusal to accept reality can reduce you to financial or emotional bankruptcy if you insist on living on fantasy. Your lively imagination can bring you admiration for creative efforts, if you turn your energy into developing them.

Neptune sextile Pluto  (Strength:  1.40)

(The Self-aware)

It is important that you have the support of your family and friends.  You are extremely sensitive and subject yourself to self-criticism that can be destructive and depressing.  It may be that you need professional help to build your self-esteem.  Later, you may transfer your intense feelings into knowledge you share with others.  You may pursue a career in psychiatry or psychology, but will continue to investigate your own psyche for answers as to what “makes you tick.”

Mercury conjunct Saturn  (Strength:  0.75)

(The Cautious)

You are apt to take a negative point of view so that you can be “prepared for the worst.”  If you are narrow in your opinions of people, you will criticize them out of your life, but you can also see through attempts to deceive you or correct imperfections in relationships, as long as you are open to change.  Learn not to project an attitude of gloom and if you have genuine complaints, air them before they are misinterpreted through your wary actions.

Jupiter conjunct Uranus  (Strength:  0.73)

(The Unexpected)

You may be caught off-balance, but have sufficient confidence to regain your footing and make the most of what lies ahead.  You are optimistic and feel that “everything is for the best” so are undaunted by a few bumps and jolts along the way to unusual opportunities that dot your path.  If your landscape were smooth and without hills to climb, you would think it dull and long for the excitement you seem to invite or create as a part of your adventurous lifestyle.

Abundant Mutable

With an abundance of planets in Mutable signs, you adapt easily to changing circumstances.  Mentally quick, you adapt like a chameleon to give each what they want, until you are on to the next friend or interest.  Life offers a succession of roles to play.  Skilled at diplomacy and compromise, you make a good negotiator and appear to be everyone’s friend.  You actually are other-oriented, rather than self-oriented, and can be so busy meeting others’ needs that you lack direction in your own life.  Concentrate on finding friends of true worth and value.  Be discriminating in your associations, in whom you choose to help.  The endless flow from your mind, tongue, and hands will then work to return real value to you, which is what you deserve.  You can probably only follow this advice just so far, though, because more than others the Universe sends you people in need, people for whom you are able to make a real difference.  The assistance that you provide to the powerless may actually be remembered long after your facile mental output is forgotten.  Your activities can also bring an end to institutions that have outlived their usefulness.

Planets in Signs

Sun in Libra

(Keynote:  I BALANCE)

You are honest, refined, tactful and generous, but may also be indecisive, credulous, impractical and trifling.  Your willingness to put the feelings of others ahead of your own makes you a desirable friend, but leaves you open to subverting your personality.  You are in your element at social functions, and revel in the arts.  Avoid arguing in the name of “justice,” and  flaunting your “superior” knowledge. Maybe you ARE a “know-it-all,” but that attitude rarely influences people to agree.  You are more effective as a diplomat, winning friends to people your busy life.

Moon in Leo

(The Prominent)

Everything is a “big deal” in your life.  You expand both the negatives and positives and express yourself dramatically. You are a “head-turner,” like the attention you attract, are generous with your money and enjoy being thought of as a “big-time spender.”  Your organizational ability, coupled with your self-confidence and popularity, often places you ahead of your competition in business, though you must watch a tendency to become “bossy.”  If you are too self-indulgent, you should call upon your natural honesty and recognize it as a fault which may be difficult to overcome.

Mercury in Libra

(The Moderator)

You are a born diplomat, so can usually sugar-coat even a bitter pill to make it palatable.  Because you see all sides of a question, you often have trouble making up your mind as to what is “fair.”  Look for a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and will inspire you to use your gift of writing.  Though your work may not be commercial, it will give you the pleasure of creating something beautiful to share with those who appreciate your efforts.

Mars in Aquarius

(The Forerunner)

You focus on the future and see things with amazing clarity, so are apt to be impatient with those who do not have your vision.  Your motives are the best — to do for others what they cannot do for themselves.  You are a matchless fund-raiser and know who to approach and what to say to accomplish your missions. You extend this nurturing quality in your personal life.  All who recognize your kindness are sure to return the interest and appreciation you deserve.

North Node in Aquarius

(The Arrogant)

You demand center stage, but are disappointed if there is little applause for your flamboyant performance.  As a member of the audience, you must cheer others for their efforts. With a dual perspective, you may realize that you are part of a larger design, devoid of ego or self-aggrandizement. Release your humanitarian instincts to enjoy the Big Show.

Planets in Aspect

Sun trine Mars  (Strength:  6.95)

(The Self-possessed)

You are confident, but not often “cocky.”  You attract the opposite sex and others who admire your independence, though you adjust readily to partnerships which increase your scope.  You review your progress regularly and update your potential, so are prepared for achievement without egoistic pitfalls to delay your success.  You may excel in physical sports, but true to your pattern are well-rehearsed, and play for the challenge of a game — not for the win, alone.

Moon trine Jupiter  (Strength:  5.43)

(The Popular)

Others may regard you as “lucky,” “optimistic, “cheerful” and “enthusiastic”, all of which accurately describes your sunny disposition and lively attitude.  You are not unrealistic, but believe in yourself and accept whatever challenges or blessings “fate” deals you as an interesting part of life.  Your many friends admire your ability to find a positive side to almost any problem.  You have no peer when the ballots are in for “the most likely to succeed.”

Jupiter opposite Saturn  (Strength:  4.94)

(The Alibis)

You may fantasize heroic adventures, but think others hold you back.  You find reasons why you can’t “go and do.” The truth is you probably have trouble letting go of the familiar to explore the unknown.  Though you complain, you are a hard worker, accept responsibility, and should be able to expand your horizons.  To paraphrase the poet:  “It is better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all!” There is always a chance you will exceed your expectations!

Moon trine Neptune  (Strength:  4.87)

(The Muse)

Your strange and wonderful dreams may be precognitive, since you are intuitive and can use this way of venting your feelings.  They can also be useful in creative work, where fantasy is as important as practicality.  You express spiritually, though you may not adopt an orthodox religion. You shun coarseness and identify with gentleness.  Your relationships are idealistic, but you must watch a tendency to overdramatize them, as did Romeo and Juliet.

Moon square Venus  (Strength:  4.31)

(The Impassioned)

You are intent on romance, but may be too fervent to realize you are over-protective or possessive of your loved-one.  If you do not have a relationship, you will feel out of balance until you attract a partner, and will make every effort to do so.  Your feelings may stem from a parent-child affinity if you are sentimental about the marriage of your parents.  Be sure you are acting from real love more than sentiment or need if you consider entering a commitment.

Sun conjunct Mercury  (Strength:  4.18)

(The Conversationalist)

You express your opinions and ideas well, and may preface each sentence with “I”, since your focus is on yourself.  If you are promoting your interests commercially, you will get your point across, but should listen to the views of others to enhance your chances of success.  You enjoy travel and meeting with people to exchange ideas.  You are a natural teacher.  If you show a flair for writing, voicing your opinions may be useful and is often the mark of a successful columnist.

Mercury trine Mars  (Strength:  3.23)

(The Lecturer)

You are sure of your facts and have the courage of your convictions, which makes you a competent speaker.  While you are confident, you are seldom combative.  Your perception is keen and you adapt quickly, so will be as at home in foreign climates as you are on familiar ground.  You enjoy negotiating and winning disputes.  Should you have to compromise your beliefs, you will not be discouraged but resolve to shore up your defenses and do better next time.

Neptune sextile Pluto  (Strength:  3.00)

(The Self-aware)

It is important that you have the support of your family and friends.  You are extremely sensitive and subject yourself to self-criticism that can be destructive and depressing.  It may be that you need professional help to build your self-esteem.  Later, you may transfer your intense feelings into knowledge you share with others.  You may pursue a career in psychiatry or psychology, but will continue to investigate your own psyche for answers as to what “makes you tick.”

Sun conjunct Uranus  (Strength:  2.74)

(The Precarious)

You are constantly trying to express as an individual, sometimes before you are entitled to an opinion.  Others may regard you as “disruptive” rather than “unique,” and a “rebel” rather than an “innovator.”  But, some admire your liveliness, which serves to keep your life and the lives of others from the ruts of boredom.  Like Ben Franklin, you must harness the electricity you generate without allowing it to destroy you in the process.

Moon sextile Saturn  (Strength:  2.37)

(The Judicious)

You are careful with your feelings and emotions and therefore have great control over your interaction with others.  You may seem older and wiser than your years because of your preference for conservatism and your respect for tradition.  You prefer the company of older people, and if you need advice will look to someone well-versed and substantial for counsel.  However, you are secure within yourself and justly proud of your independence and self-sufficiency.

Jupiter conjunct Neptune  (Strength:  2.30)

(The Utopian)

Your compassion for others inspires you to try to perfect the world for all to enjoy.  Idealism can tempt you to take risks that may not pay off, or you may not have the means for social reform.  But, given encouragement to change, man can achieve what it is impossible for others to do for him.  Help others to their feet with dignity.  If your resources extend no farther than your arms can reach, you may still exemplify a prayer:  “Let there be peace, and let it begin with me.”

Moon sextile Pluto  (Strength:  1.87)

(The Responsive)

Your impulses are valid and valuable.  You have a strong sense of “right” or “wrong,” for others as well as yourself, which is often a motivating factor in your actions.  You fit easily into most situations because you identify instinctively with the feelings of others.  Your emotions will not allow you to indulge in superficiality, but try to be understanding rather than judgmental in your relationships and demonstrate your ability to be compassionate rather than removed.

Mars trine Uranus  (Strength:  1.69)

(The Expressive)

You will find positive ways to release your tremendous store of energy, and may direct it into a career or some “life work” of an unusual nature.  You will never go unnoticed because you express as a “different” kind of individual.  Your unique imprint is on whatever you touch, whether constructive or destructive.  Each success builds your confidence to move onward and upward.  You are adventurous and are liable to “climb a mountain just because it’s there.”

Saturn opposite Neptune  (Strength:  1.25)

(The Conflict)

You may be deprived of a firm foundation early, which encourages inner doubts and insecurities as you mature.  Avoid unnecessary self-blame, but assume responsibility for your thoughts and actions.  You are not being “picked on,” — only trying to discover who you are and how you fit into the scheme of things.  Eventually, you may find that  “street-smarts” can be more practical than “book-learning.”  Try to blend the best of both to gain self-confidence and assure success.

Saturn trine Pluto  (Strength:  0.24)

(The Conqueror)

You are a formidable force in the universe because of your intense desire to succeed, if it takes you forever to do so.  You are well-structured and informed.  You know where you are going and precisely how to get there, without cutting corners but with little wasted motion.  Others note your efficiency and appreciate your efforts with resultant rewards.  You are self-aware and are always willing to do whatever it takes for u

nderstanding and overall improvement.

Balance of Elements and Modalities

Abundant Air

You seem to live for mental exploration.  Discovering and communicating the connections between ideas, people, and places is your function in life.  Your active mind is good at identifying new frontiers whose basics you quickly master, so that you end up knowing something about almost everything.  You have a dispassionate nature that cooly considers the pros and cons of a situation, able to place logic above personal emotion.  From your mental viewpoint, emotions look irrational.  You make a good negotiator, sales person, communicator, arbitrator, analyst, and information processor.  Ideas flow quickly for you.  While impersonal and dispassionate, you nonetheless thrive on communication and social interaction.  At your best, you strive to understand and accept people, not to change them.  Courageously, you adhere to principles.  You appreciate culture, structure, and systems.

Your greatest strength is also your weakness, namely too much coolness from placing head above heart.  Leaders must be able to follow their hearts without being indecisive or equivocating.  And you ignore your real connection to others if you use your mental gifts to coldly manipulate them.  Try to avoid isolation by functioning as part of a team in which your logic, analysis, and communication skills are put to good use.  Work with others who may be more practical, sensitive, or passionate than are you. Don’t keep your good ideas inside, but write them down and communicate them to others.
